The sad thing is, my old college roommate actually did play through the original Zelda (getting all the way to Ganon) without getting a sword. It’s a thing you can actually do! Talk about hard mode. Of course you do need to pick up a few items other than just the “smashing board!”

Am I the only one who thought it was a little weird you had to put the pieces of Dracula back together to kill him a SECOND time? I mean, isn’t he pretty non-threatening broken up into obscure body part chunks that are stored in remote locations?
