Everyday people come to me saying, “Shawn, you’re pretty cool… is there some way I could give you a portion of my disposable income in exchange for awesome geeky t-shirts that will make me the envy of my uncultured neighborhood?” Well good news! Thanks to a twist of fate, I have a buttload of new shirt designs that are finally available for sale on the fabled “internets!”

Not sure if it really needs to be mentioned again… but I’m at AnimeExpo in L.A. this weekend with Scott and Dave! Two cons in California in a row? INSANITY.
As always I will have a wide variety of t-shirts on hand (including two brand new designs that are not available yet, and one that is coming out of retirement!) and of course a pile of Halolz posters. Also I should have some sort of new poster based off of the Brawl artwork I’ve been working on the last month (not 100% sure what that’s going to look like though). Anyway, if you’re going to be there you should track me down! I wish I could tell you what booth I’ll be at, but I have no idea! I just know it’s an exhibitors booth so I assume it will be where all the action is on the main floor.
Also Mike is indeed still alive… he has a post queued up for later today! Hopefully he can get some more up this weekend while I’m out of town!

So I’ve been keeping up with posting submissions pretty well… but the site news, not so much. Here’s some random stuff that’s going on at the moment!
• I have a Deviant Art page now. (Also turns out Mike has one too!) I’ve always been kind of reluctant to sign up at DA, but it actually seems to be working out pretty well for me (I guess it’s the convenience mostly). Anyway I’ve been working on some stuff for THE AWESOMEST SMASH BROS. POSTER EVER MADE and could always use some extra feedback!
• In a little over two weeks I’ll be heading out to Anime Expo in L.A. which I’m told is the biggest anime con in the country… so… that’s going to be interesting (and not stressful in any way!) And of course, if you live in California, this would be another excellent chance to pick up a Halolz poster without paying all that lame shipping!
• I’ve kind of rekindled my love affair with Team Fortress 2 recently (on PC)… and so figured what the heck, I’ll go ahead and make a Halolz group on Steam! So if you get bored we can always use some more Pyros!
• And after a long time of saying I was going to do it… I’ve finally gotten around to putting up a new store page called Ninja-Bot (you might have seen the new ad banner). It’s not all that different than the store page I had on Staccato, but now I have a better place to centralize all the random crap I end up selling. I guess it’s not all that exciting, but I figured I’d mention it anyways…
Hmm, so I guess that’s all I can think of at the moment. Have fun with all those links! FRINK OUT!

Hey folks, sorry if the updates have been a little sparatic… I’ve been rushing around trying to get ready for Fanime 2008 (which I didn’t even get around to mentioning until now).
So yeah, if you’re in the San Jose, CA area this Memorial Day weekend, you should swing by the artist alley and say hi! I will have some of those sweet Halolz Posters (more than I did at NYCC!) and of course all the other wonderful crap I shill on a regular basis! Hope to see some readers there! (It’s the first con I’ve ever done in California…)

Wow, I can’t believe I forgot to mention this… but the incredibly awesome Halolz posters are now up for preorder!
In case you forgot from my earlier NYCC post, here are some bulletpoints outlining it’s awesomeness:

NY Comic Con 2008… MISSAN COMPWEE!
Just a quick update… the posters were a hit (I think they were all gone by Saturday) so they will definitely be going up for sale on the interwebs soon.
Also the site still seems to be running despite my being out of town for like five days, so that’s a good sign. I never mentioned it but I updated a lot of the site software last week and so far things seem to be holding together so I guess that all worked out.
Oh and since the site is growing, I’ve decided to add a second editor to help me keep up with lawl processing. More info on that later!
(No applications plz, the position has already been filled!)

Yo! In case you didn’t know, I’ll be at New York Comic Con this weekend, hanging with Scott from VGCats and Dave from SNAFU! Our rocking corner booth is located here, on the corner of Awesome Ave. and Rock-Your-Face Road. Ok that’s not what the aisles are called… but man, if I ran the convention, THEY WOULD BE.
Anyway, if you’re going to be in the city you should stop by. I will have a few of my classic wacky t-shirts for sale… along with a brand new poster I’ve been working on with Dave…
The poster is 16″x 20″ and is way nicer quality than I could ever describe online. Trust me, it’s awesome. If you ever wanted to cover your dorm room or run down shack with Halolz… this is the perfect way to do it!
But yeah, I’ll have a small amount of these at NYCC if you’d like to check them out/pick one up! All proceeds go to the hosting of the site… and my addiction to Starbucks.
