Just wanted to thank everyone again for the great pumpkins sent in this year! We’re really impressed with the stuff you guys send in, and the fact that each year we get more submissions really tells me this is a fun event and it’s worth doing! Also it makes me look forward to seeing what you guys come up with next year!
With that in mind, we’ve decided to give out a participation prize to everyone who entered this year! It’s a new piece of merch we’ve been working on, and it’s not finished yet, but we’ll send one out to you as soon as we have them!

And finally our grand prize for most creative pumpkin goes to Nick Everson for his Halo: Reach Haunted Helmet! Not only is it a great design, but it looks awesome when it’s on fire! I guess that particular haunted helmet belongs to someone at Bungie?
Our runners-up prizes for most creative go to Nick and Molly for their uniquely lit Pacman and Ghosts, and Daniel Potvin for The Original Ghost Pump-kemon that features everyone’s three favorite original ghost Pokémon (and a creatively painted Pokeball!) Well done, and congrats again to everyone for making this a fantastic 3rd Halloween carving contest!

Our grand prize for most humorous pumpkin goes to ChimpoDelFuego for “The Orange Spy” (possibly one of the simplest winning designs we’ve ever seen!) and I was told we would be carving pumpkin!, a pumpkinized version of Gentleman Heavy (complete with top hat and monocle!)
Our humorous runners-up include GengarKing’s PumpKoffin’ (a Koffing with an awesome face is good, but adding a “poison gas attack” makes it great!), and suicid3clutch’s Old Snake takes out an Enemy Soldier for it’s stealthy kill pose! Congrats guys!

Our grand prize for most detailed pumpkin goes to ceemdee with a four-way tie between four of his many amazing pumpkins! The four pumpkins that received the top votes were Creeper, Day of the Tentacle, Homeworld and DeathSpank. The judges were unanimous in that all their top picks for most detailed were pumpkins by ceemdee!
Picking up runner-up prizes are GLaDOS Cake Core and Curiosity Core by LadyFiede (talk about detailed… they’re right up there with that Portal Sentry Pumpkin!) and No King Rules Forever by Artais! Great job guys!

Yes, I am FINALLY posting the details on this years Halolz pumpkin carving contest!
No I didn’t forget about it! I’ve just been dragging my feet! :O
Anyway for those unfamiliar with it, this is our third annual “Halolzween Pumpkin Carving Contest” which is a chance for you Halolz submitters to get your hands dirty and see who can come up with the most creative, detailed and original video game themed Halloween pumpkins!
