Actually, in the "O.G.," as the guy in the video put it, Dragonite -was- weak against electricity. The type matchup system worked weird for dual-type Pokemon back then. Anytime a move's effectiveness was changed by both types, whether it was a double weakness, double resistance, or canceling out with one of each, only one type was actually factored in.
Dragonite can learn Aqua tail though :P

Nope, dragon resists electric, flying is weak, thereby Dragonite is neutral to it.
Rock and Ice are the only non-Dragon weaknesses of Dragonite. And Dragonite can learn fighting, water, ground (I think) and steel moves.
There is a reason I used a Dragonite in both games where they were readily available (First/Third gen and Second/Fourth gen)

Dragon types resist electric attacks, flying types are weak to electric attacks. Dragonite is a dual dragon-flying pokemon. Therefore 2 x 1/2 = 1, so Dragonite is damaged normally by electric attacks.

It still is unless it's got a secondary type that resists it, such as Dragon (Dragonite, Salamence), Grass (Tropius, Jumpluff), or Ground (Gligar)
I always use an Aggron in R/S/E. It may have 2 double weaknesses, but it's got enough defense that it can hold an Electrode in front of its face and let it use Explosion and it wouldn't feel a thing.
And it learns as many moves as a freakin' pseudo-legendary.
Don't fuck with Aggron.

My point in case being that unless immune to everything means "does not die in one hit often", the above video has really over hyped the potent of the original Dragon-type.
On a related note, I played through Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness recently and got Shadow Dragonite purified. Now I fucking love Dragonite.
