So I finally got around to fixing a few issues with the new site design. The biggest change however is that I’ve installed the IntenseDebate commenting system, which in the future will be a standard part of WordPress. So I figured why not get ahead of the curve and start using it now?
It’s definitely an upgrade to the old comment system, especially with its threaded replies (something we’ve needed for a while). Also it imports all the old comments, so they’re all still there, but now when you make new comments things will be a little more dynamic.
Also I should note you don’t have to sign up with IntenseDebate to comment, but it will add more features to the whole commenting experience. If you leave a lot of comments it’s probably worth the time to sign up. Also Gravatars won’t stop working, but if you don’t have a Gravatar yet signing up at IntenseDebate will bypass that whole process.
So yeah, check it out… let me know if there are any bugs. Feel free to go nuts with test comments in this thread!
Hope this makes the site a little more enjoyable!
