Only ten year olds kill & camp. Professional trolls get creative; we stalk our prey and harass the hell out of them. Stun them right before they can turn in a quest or at random while they collect X number of skulls. Steal kills. Poison at random. Run circles around them for minutes on in.

But don't kill them, oh no. Rough them up a little, sure. But killing is just an annoyance. They expect that. Make them feel FEAR, and crush their spirit slowly. Make them expect that finishing blow at any time, but never give it to them. Never give them closure. Make them check their backs constantly. Your not making the game tedious, like camping does...your making it their own private little hell.
