On a somewhat related note, about a week ago I picked up a loose cart of the notoriously bad Atari 2600 Pac-Man for a quarter at a local store. I pretty much bought it out of curiosity and it was a quarter anyway, so if it was as bad as its reputation suggests, I wouldn't have lost much. After playing it, I gotta say I have no idea why people hate 2600 Pac-Man so much. It's about what I expected for an arcade port on Atari. Has anyone else here played it? Can someone tell me why it gets so much hate? I'm assuming there's at least one other person on Halolz who still plays Atari.
Just grow a back-bone. This is a joint effort and all of us have to lend a hand.

There is only one ghost which is glitchy as HELL, and instead of waka waka Pacman makes a Brrr Brrr Brrr, sound instead. It's quite annoying.
I think it's thigh-time that we put our heads together and get out of these cells. Be a good vessel of knowledge and stop jawing about how small things are getting.

No, there are still 4 ghosts. It looks like there's only one at the beginning because they all occupy the same sprite until they split off from one another. But yeah, the noise might get annoying to some people.
