Now, back to investigating Mr. Spaz, which we've yet to find if it is his real identification.
lol this actually reminds me of a story involving another server where we were testing the explosive yield of overloaded nuclear reactors.
We decided to start testing the destruction at a local NPC village and didn't realize that the area was under spawn protection. The system lagged on the protection part so it didn't kick in until an hour later. By then we had reduced a desert village into a crater with floating destroyed houses (Cause the sand just fell around them) and were deciding to make it more picturesc by creating a giant cylinder of lava over the village.
Suddenly the lava cylinder was replaced with a gigantic cylinder of sand…. then that dissapeared and most of the building were rebuilt… but standing on top of giant sand pillars.
Then the entire area flattened.. and I mean literally, houses were still intact… but they were buried below the surface of the sand…. it was like a sand storm had blown through and buried the village underneath… we decided to start exploring them like archaeologists. Then things started to really fuck up.
The game started to replace the top layer of the ground with random items. First it was glass, just a solid sheet… then it wen back to the same buried form it was in, then it was ladders… which can't stand on a flat surface so they all just turned into dropped ladders.
Then it was neverwart… which was kind of weird. And then it went back to normal.
This is when it got hilarious. Cause my brother decided to start putting down TNT blocks for some reason (I think he was trying to dig out one of the houses wit them) when in one second I hear him talking about something random….. then the ground got covered in pressure plates.
And all I heard was "Yea so then you gotta-OH SHIT!!!!!" *Humongous server lagging explosion*
We all died laughing at the pure perfectness of the timing the server had done that at. After that it did a few more glitches before crashing completely. I gotta say, best server glitch ever….
Oh, so it's not just me.
