You Cannot argue with the logic.
uh, when I play, EVERY medic (including myself) uses the crossbow, it hits harder over longer ranges, so with a crit I've done over 400 point of damage in one shot
I think it heals them when disguised, I could be wrong about this though

I play as a semi-battle medic, I heal when I get asked or if there is a particularly competent heavy/demoman/pyro/soldier, but otherwise I'm helping fight

I only used one because it completed the medieval medic set-up. But I got killed too many times because I couldn't hit anyone.
