If I got this for Christmas, it really would be hard to overstate my satisfaction.

  2. Shawn Handyside on December 18th, 2011 11:13 pm

Bad news for her… the boxes are empty and there's a fruitcake inside!

  3. ChemicalKirby on December 18th, 2011 11:13 pm

Now your thinking with gift wrapping!

  4. Numberplay on December 18th, 2011 11:14 pm

In fact, the disk is cut in half.

  5. EonofAeon on December 18th, 2011 11:16 pm

I can't think of something witty to say….
So instead, I'll simply point out how jealous I am of that couple/present/person who received this gift.

  6. jyndtactica on December 18th, 2011 11:28 pm

    I like fruit cake!

  7. Drjolt on December 18th, 2011 11:29 pm

Little did she know that the game cases have deadly neruotoxins inside.

  8. Omnomynous on December 18th, 2011 11:30 pm

Wow really? The point of wrapping a gift is so it could be HIDDEN from others. Who ever wrapped this must have been a real moro-

Wheatley: I AM NOT A MORON!

    *shoved into pit*

  9. Jerach on December 18th, 2011 11:31 pm

This would make a perfect wedding gift for the couple from the Portal 2 proposal.

  10. Omnomynous on December 18th, 2011 11:35 pm

You could say that it was

    *Kamina Glasses*

    A two part game

    YEEEEAAAAAHHHH!!

  11. Gaytits on December 18th, 2011 11:45 pm

Two copies, or just one cut in half? The world may never know.

  12. NekoKnight on December 18th, 2011 11:55 pm

I was told by my gift consultants that I couldn't just give someone two halves of a game and that it wouldn't play. Did it anyway, tape is expensive.

This is NekoKnight, we're done here.

  13. Seto_Kaiba on December 18th, 2011 11:56 pm

I'm sure Santa Claus would make a note: huge success.

  14. Vabolo on December 18th, 2011 11:59 pm

    The lie is a cake?

  15. AManWithACloak on December 19th, 2011 12:01 am

At least they didn't get a bonk in a box.

  16. straYDoubter on December 19th, 2011 12:02 am

Get rid of the game. The box alone is worth ten Christmases.

  17. Vabolo on December 19th, 2011 12:09 am

She'll be really GlaDOS see it under the Chistmas tree!

  18. TCC on December 19th, 2011 12:09 am

I'd like to turn everyone's attention to this.

  19. Twilightdusk on December 19th, 2011 12:12 am

So, two copies of the game? Or cut the case in half?

  20. UndeadLex on December 19th, 2011 12:25 am
  21. Vabolo on December 19th, 2011 12:30 am

I guess I tested the limits of your patience with that.

  22. KZN02 on December 19th, 2011 12:40 am

Or a Mann Co Crate without a key.

  23. mikeorike on December 19th, 2011 1:05 am

Since when did Santa work at Aperture Science?

  24. wolfpax181 on December 19th, 2011 1:12 am

    Fuck those things I say.

  25. Dash12345678 on December 19th, 2011 1:13 am

Without Aperture Science backing him, at least five billion children would receive nothing for Christmas each year. Instead, all the children Santa didn't have time to get to would be abducted the following December 18th, to build toys in Nicolas Crowders' workshop, because they were bad after receiving nothing for the previous Christmas despite their good behaviour.

Frack, now I can't get GLaDOS out of my head, speaking about my violent behaviour and what will happen despite it.

  26. Dash12345678 on December 19th, 2011 1:15 am

That's great and all, but can you turn my attention to it a little bit larger? Because I forgot that all I need to do is right click to open it in a new tab.

    Wait, hold on…. Oh, nevermind.

  27. Dash12345678 on December 19th, 2011 1:20 am

Meanwhile at VALVe: Make the recipient pay to open their Christmas Gifts, Sandvich? Good idea!

  28. Deep Thought on December 19th, 2011 1:24 am

It's always orange and blue. Never any other colors.

Think about that, slaves of the media.

  29. Axel X on December 19th, 2011 1:38 am

Christmas: Putting our differences aside for science…you monster.

  30. MasterLuigi452 on December 19th, 2011 1:50 am

    ….2 Portal 2?
Either I want them because it's an offer you cannot miss or 2ception…

  31. alphaunit1337 on December 19th, 2011 2:46 am

Isn't it obvious, Santa works at Aperture Science because they will allow him to use the portal gun in return for 'science.' How else would he get accross the freakin' world in a one night!

  32. SirNumel on December 19th, 2011 3:27 am

See, but now she has to go to the Mann Co. Store and buy a key to unwrap it! Totally defeats the purpose of giving a gift.

  33. dope92 on December 19th, 2011 3:48 am
  34. jostimaster on December 19th, 2011 4:07 am

And I will respond, once again, interrupted- WHY, SNOW, WHYYYYYY! I CAN'T TYPE THE REST OF MY COMMENT BECAUSE OF THESE SNOWFLAKES

  35. M4DD4WG on December 19th, 2011 4:33 am

thats cause orange and blue are awesome colors. and they complement each other.

  36. vash_ts on December 19th, 2011 5:03 am

    wait… the cake isn´t a lie?

  37. vash_ts on December 19th, 2011 5:06 am

but when you open it, the game is a lie, inside of that box there is a printer!

  38. John_Know_Doe on December 19th, 2011 6:25 am

you know I wouldn't really want to play that game if my parents have a portal gun.

  43. ProfessorLuigi on December 19th, 2011 9:07 am

COULD A MORON SHOVE YOU INTO THIS BOX?
    COULD A MORON DO THAT?

  44. ProfessorLuigi on December 19th, 2011 9:07 am

Nope. One copy and 2 portals.

  45. ProfessorLuigi on December 19th, 2011 9:29 am

    What about the Matrix?

  53. Twilightdusk on December 21st, 2011 8:48 pm

Wait, if you look close at the blue portal you see that it has to be two copies of the game, you can see the top of Peabody's foot on the top case, and all of the foot with extra space above on the bottom case.

  54. Vabolo on December 21st, 2011 11:19 pm

    Not at first.
