I find it hard to pick on Notch or anyone at Mojang. I mean c'mon, We all know a few companies that could stand to have the same integrity in their own release schedules.

Seeing as how the 9 people of Mojang have made 56 million plus dollars in sales of Minecraft and Minecraft merchandise, and are pretty much set for life, what can they do but keep making the game more and more fun for everyone? They don't need other jobs anymore so they can devote themselves to Minecraft, Scrolls etc.

Edit: Okay, joking aside I'm going to educate you. What Valve does is a science. They're not just throwing combustible lemons at walls here and seeing what napalm sticks. They intentionally force back release schedules and hold back games while offering only teasers to build anticipation.
Valve, as a company, has built it's reputation as being a cocktease to gamers. If Valve was a whore it would be the most high classed, money-churning, Dominatrix in Las Vegas without ever having to touch a client because they got the whole "tease" thing down to a science.
Not only are they good at teasing; they hold a master-class in bullshit. "Oh, you want Half-life 3? Well, you been playing Half-life 2 Episodes, right? Guess what! THAT'S THREE GUYS! LOLOLOL"
Valve is a tease and troll. If they didn't have it down to such a bloody good science with great games they'd of went bankrupt years ago.
So, yeah. The "Boo-hoo, Mojang has moneys" thing don't fly with me. If you're in the business of making games you make damn games. Not combustible lemons.
Edit (2): Lol, giving all the negs I'm suddenly getting I must of made some fanboys mad. I never said they didn't do great games. I'm just saying they intentionally bait and switch us to keep driving the Valve-conomy.
