It's most powerful STAB (moves that get a 1.5x boost) are Fire Fang and Flame wheel. Those are 65 and 50 base power.
Compared to every other fire type out there, that's terrible.
But… but… it was funny when a 130 base attack fire pokemon couldn't use Flare Blitz! Now I'm curious to see if this is actually possible.
It's as terrible as stealing forty cakes (that's four tens!).

Way to go 4chan you've found a way to make Flareon useful……but can it learn fly?! On a completely unrelated note that Cromartie High School picture in the responses below the explanation made my day.
This is more legit than 4chan: Getting an action replay: changing the TMs to Judgement, Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, and Dark Void, giving them to Flareon… more legit than 4chan.
I'll stick with my shitty Guts Flareon with fire fang and protect TYVM!

Further, Flareon's growths give it a high Physical attack stat, but a lackluster Special Attack. Only Fire Fang and FLAME CHARGE (as of gen 5) can it learn that are both, and even then only gen 4 on could they count as physical

Out of the 9 physical fire attacks IN THE ENTIRE POKEMON UNIVERSE,
Flareon can only learn 2 of them, both of which are in the bottom three of power.
This is just sad.
