    I believe we're up to 3rd generation halolz now, a bit more mainstream. Jokes about dead babies, anthropomorphic animal/pokemon sex and disasters involving the heavy loss of human life don't seem to fly so much any more. Now I post pictures! I haven't got to the point where I post links to tvtropes though.

    Ha! Remember when every post used to have at least half a dozen CSI jokes. I can't decide if those were good or bad times.

    Gentlemen… this is a crisis. We must not let our identity be marred by the concept of the hipster. We are above hipsters. Someone must catalog the halolz generations and post it so that we can be instead identified with the stanard "old gentleman whose world changes too fast for them to keep up and who then decide to continue their archaic ways for great justice" instead of "mind of arrogance fueled by the concept of fighting the current just so that he can fill up his ego with the fact that is different from everyone else"

    I feel like I was sorta gen 1.5…. though I could be gen 2…. or maybe I was introduced in gen 1.5, but heavily buffed by the time gen 2 came around? can I get some patch notes here?

    I think I introduced hats with the inclusion of the falcon helmet to my cookie. later, when halos were a hot topic I added that, but soon dropped it for a top hat and monocle.

    of course this was around Halolz gen 1.6-2.0, and things started getting pretty confusing just after 2.1…

    In my opinions I consider Generations to go like this:
    Gen 1: No intensedebate, no epeen, mostly Halo jokes, beginning of Wolf and Falcon, notable members = Killer Cartoons (no.1 best poster), Pigeon Army, B-Mac. Average number of comments, 15-30
    Gen 2: Intensedebate, search for 69epeen, still mostly captions people send in but videos start being posted. notable members = badonk, daifuku, kingofretards. Average number of comments, 50-70, anything comment over plus 10 was a lot
    Gen 3: Everything is from youtube, reddit, deviantart or some gaming site. Average number of comments over a 100. High epeens and plus ones everywhere.
