At first, I didn't understand this at all. I was confused, I felt like I was left out of the picture. But, it all suddenly snapped together. I can now see the perfect symmetries between the events in this video and our American government.
Knuckles represents Obama, who appeals to many cultures and is obviously the leader in this endeavor.
Vector is the Democratic party, particularly the House of Representatives, who is lost, ending the Democratic rule.
Charmy Bee represnts the Middles and lower classes of the American People, as no one in the White House or Congress wishes to acknowledge him or give him a fair chance.
Espio is the Republican party, who is now in place of Vector. He will now have to work with Obama-Knuckles as Vector was squeezed to death, symbolizing how the Democrats were removed from the House of Representatives. The fact that all the characters stand together is a testament to how the political parties mixed during Obama's State of the Union Address, just a few days ago.

Mighty the Armadillo is the figure of Upper-Class citizens, as he proves he is in contol of what happens. Mighty chooses what will happen to our government and shows particular disdain towards Charmy.
Lastly, Sonic represented John Locke's views of the ideal government. He was the original, but what is portrayed in the video is a perfect symbolization of how his perfect concept became distorted and twisted as new minds were introduced to the equation.
I now this is a lot of writing, but I put this to help others understand the ture purpose of this video. Do not think it some sort of parody of a video game next to nobody played. Only a blind fool would not be able to see this beautiful, yet painfully realistic, model of our recent politics. Good day.
