The Lava on Minecraft is sentient. It'll wait until the glorious moment you build your diamond pickaxe. Then it'll whistle along a few creepers and proceed to flood out of every hole in the wall and even erode the very floor you stand on, until you're forced to watch your pickaxe burn infront of your eyes.

Or maybe I'm just bitter. Yeah that.

7. Pringer X on January 6th, 2011 10:40 am

I learned this the hard way back when Minecraft had world types.

8. lokik21 on January 6th, 2011 11:08 am

At least their wasn't any creepers at the bottom. Or was their? DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

12. MasterLuigi452 on January 6th, 2011 12:55 pm

Some people never learn. Period.

13. CakeBard on January 6th, 2011 1:05 pm

EVERY FUCKING TIME! … I want to build an awesome underground lair…

14. TheAceOfSkulls on January 6th, 2011 1:14 pm

Bullshit. I'll have you know that digging straight down was what lead me to being able to build my secret underground base with magma out the window that I could use to hide from any… problems.

…wait, is this about Minecraft again?

15. Lekonua on January 6th, 2011 1:26 pm

Don't I know it. I used a mapping program to find a gold deposit, and a GPS program to find the coordinates in game. Unfortunately, the GPS used reversed coordinates. Not only was I completely in the wrong place, but I dug straight down through probably the ONLY gap in the bedrock for miles. Right into the void.

16. doepker on January 6th, 2011 2:03 pm

Wait, there's lava at the bottom of Dig Dug
*realizes what the submission is, shuts up*

17. DM1293 on January 6th, 2011 3:55 pm

Oh come on. *Ahem*

It looks like this miner…

*Shades*

PICKed the wrong spot to dig.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAlastshadespostfortheweekIswearAAAAAAAH

18. AuraMaster on January 6th, 2011 4:04 pm

SCIENCE FAIL.

Magma is what's underground. It becomes lava when it reaches the surface.

19. Red on January 6th, 2011 4:21 pm

I dig straight down too much. I try to stop, but instead dug a 3x3 hole straight down, allowing me to jump-n-place blocks (mainly dirt) to go back up. Found an open space, explored. Hit the "w" key by mistake, walked into a lake of lava and lost a lot of loot.
*pause… sobs heavily*

20. Red on January 6th, 2011 4:22 pm

I share your pain

21. Kregain on January 6th, 2011 4:24 pm

Can you dig it…… Sucka!! <img src="http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f150/KregainSeph/BookerT.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket">

22. Red on January 6th, 2011 4:24 pm

Kublai Kahn

23. FoxyMayo on January 6th, 2011 4:28 pm

I am Ganon. I'm going straight into the pit, because it burns.

Also, somebody should totally get me this game.

Please?

24. Sir_Nox on January 6th, 2011 5:26 pm

So, Halolz, which would YOU choose? Death by lava, or death by Creepers? You can choose either, but you can only die once.

25. Zyquux on January 6th, 2011 5:37 pm

Kublai Khan.

26. 3K9 on January 6th, 2011 7:11 pm

Strangely, I always land out into motherloads of diamonds, gold, and coal whenever I dig down

27. Nyoron on January 6th, 2011 11:56 pm

At least he was…..Damnit i got nothing. DAMNIT!

28. Tadferd on January 7th, 2011 12:45 am

The Minecraft players knew this was a Minecraft submission and not Dig Dug. No one forgets Minecraft Rule #1. Once you learn it, it become forever scarred into your brain. The mental trauma won't let you forget. You will remember FOREVER!

29. ZeikHunter on January 7th, 2011 1:59 am

CSI: Miami = Instant Gentlemanly Status. Proof as follows:

This miner's story…

*shades*

is full of holes.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

30. Red on January 7th, 2011 8:46 pm

I always build close to my spawn. It's helpful for forgetful folk like myself.
Now why am I on this mountain again???

31. spearmint64 on January 8th, 2011 10:46 am

PUNCHING LAVA

MAKES ME HOT
