(In all honesty, I'd put the whole series as a Xanatos Gambit of Daisy. Of course it makes sense… she's next in line to the throne and no one cares enough to think of her as a major character. If Mario ends up saving Peach, then Bowser takes the blame and Daisy just looks like a bystander… better yet, it's a tag team of Daisy and Luigi to off Mario and Peach)
