i thought since it is 6 bird pokemon combined it would either be a 12x (2*6) weakness (my way) or a 64x (2^6) weakness (your way)
i'll give him credit, readin what he writes helps me focus hate on someone.
Ah, but it can't be flying type multiple times, can it? And the game mechanic is a doubling for each weakness, thus 2,4,8,16, etc. etc. So *2 for flying, *2 for ice, and *2 for fire, bringing you to a nice 8 :D

how about proportions since a pokemon can only have two types
it's 1/2 (6/12) flying so one of the types is flying and the other type is a bastard mix of 2/12th fire(Moltres, Ho-oh), 1/12 psychic (Lugia), 1/12 ice(Articuno), 1/12 electric (Zapdos) and 1/12 normal (Dodrio)
so it would be:
(2/6 fire, 1/6 ice, 1/6 electric, 1/6 psychic, 1/6 normal)/ Flying
so it would still be 2x weakness to rock
i don't know how the bastard mix of types would work out when it comes to weaknesses and super effectiveness

Nope. Lugia and Ho-oh existed back in first gen. For reference, see the first episode of the anime, and last chapter in the Yellow arc of the special manga.
HOLD IT! Lugia first appearing volume 7 as a shimmering light, long before Gen II. However, Mew was also planned to be put in Gen II, but some programmer saw room for one more Pokemon. The anime and manga were made months after the games were in stores. However, that doesn't change the fact that they were intended for Gen II!
Then it would still be super effective. Like a Charizard with Blaze in effect, Sunny Day, a Flame Plate, and the opponent is a Parasect with Dry Skin. Then attack it with Blast Burn. It might be more powerful than ever, but the move is still super effective.

actually, (sorry if this sounds rude) it is more generally accepted that sice a super effective attack doubles the damage the number would double going up, ergo a rock attack would be eight times as effective, rock throw would have 400 damage, making judgment look like splash. (yes i know i'm a pokemon nerd, followed it as long as i can remember)

Not only can it fly in space, it can swim through dry land. And tri-attack would lacerate any opponent(even in a poke ball) with fire, ice, air, psychic energy, electricity, and normalness. The move will be renamed "Elemental PWNAGE". And it will have infinite PP. DAMN!

Achtually, given that pokemon only have two types each, it would be impossible for a pokemon to have an 8x weakness without some sort of (dis)ability causing it. If anything, this guy will probably be a normal/flying type. Think of tri attack, it's a normal type move, but it's implied that a pokemon using the move is doing fire, electric, and ice damage all at once to an opponent, hence the chance of the target being burned, paralyzed, or frozen.
