I do believe the Demoman requires skill.
*Blinks* This makes no sense. Why does the engie care about what the demoman is doing when he's on his team? And why does the spy seem so happy about it??

What makes me a good Demoman? I can identify the big, bright capture point, and know to put stickies on it.
I have no problem with sticky spam.
But carpet demos make me rage so much.
Hey, it does take skill to put those stickies where they are.

Pfeh, not really. My stickies were cleaned up by every class but Spy in that area. All you need to do is kill the Demo or shoot the stickies.
Depth perception?
Where we're playing, we don't need depth perception.

Spy: Well this was a disappointment.

We did a 2fort intel camp with an entire team of sticky demos once. We just stood on the intel table and carpeted the enemy intel room, with occasional trips to cap intel.
Well, Snipers need depth perception.

There are quite a few other strategies…
I personally use shotgun and Powerjack almost as much if not more, and I airblast.
I still laugh at W+M1 shotgun and W+M2.

The only time a Demoman takes skill is when you storm the opponent's base solo and take their intelligence.

Eyelander Demos=Pyro 2.0 Because one class w+m1ing wasn't enough and they needed some way to reduce sticky spam. It is sad to see both of them bring down the name of Demoman for those of us who pro pipe.

He does take skill. He takes skill if you're not a stickyspammer but then you're the same kinda person who W+M1s with the Backburner and doesn't even try to ambush people or press the Q button.
Demoman requires precise timing, strategy, and intelligence to place stickies all over the point.
Didn't you know standing in one place with a sticky trap at the place with the most high traffic and doing it over and over again takes a shitload of concentration and skill?
NO, you did not! Well, maybe if the person had only one arm, then it doesn't take that much concentration to just use the mouse and not move.. WHATEVER!
I don't always use Demoman
But when I do, it takes skill.
Of course…who needs skill to put those stickies back to the point while the last 10 guys you killed with your traps run after you, even if that means their death, facing then using only your grenade launcher since you need to keep your trap and a soldier rockets your stupid bombs out of the point, that's for drunk noobs with no depth perception!
