Not that any of us need a reason to play more TF2… but I thought this would be appropriate since today you can pick up Alien Swarm on Steam for free and they’ll throw in a matching TF2 hat as well! Now Team Fortress is better than ever!

In other news, Alien Swarm isn't all that bad. Reminds me alot of the series Alien Shooter, except online as a 4 player co-op. It's entertaining, Insane difficulty must be near-impossible, and there's achievements and unlockables. It's free, you should check it out! Too bad you can get through the only available campaign in 1h30-2h the first time through.

Actually its based off of a UT2004 mod of the same name with the same crew and about the same game-play.
And to me it was like crackdown. The Halo Beta made me buy it but the game charmed me into likeing it on its own. So yeah the hat got me intrested in the game but the game itself is nice and free and fun.
