Forgoing a funny comment to complain that the aforementioned Halolz TF2 Server is full of micspam and jerkasses. Tried playing there, got myself an earful of obnoxious music and loud noises, as well as people being dicks to others. Tried to ask people nicely to end the micspam, got ignored. Kept asking, got told to stop bitching.
I have no intention to play on the Halolz server, ever again. :(
oh, I forgot to mention the Disgusting Sprays. I don't join TF2 servers to look at pics of Furies having sex.
We're trying to get more admins on there right now… I think we have six at the moment. Also we're installing a "donator" mod that will give all Halolz regulars the ability to use admin commands like kicking people.
The furry sprays… yeah they're kind of awful, but we are not doing any kind of spray censoring policy.
Demo-kun runs a tight KNIT team.

dr. furry here, you know you love me :3 as for admins, if you're doing it by free basis, i have extensive adminship experience, having administered 2 css and 1 tf2 servers in the past, currently administering one pub css server, and i know how to use mani and source mod, so if you need anyone with experience, just give me a holler on steam ;3
as for mic spam, even shawn here gets in on it, but he has some high quality music instead of garbles that causes people to get buffer overflows. true story, some guy spammed the pokemon song, 5 ppl instantly disconnected because of buffer overflow

But isn't Domo-kun a big pile of feces? Is it subtlely saying that Demoman class is crap?
If the music annoys you, use the Mute button on TF2 main page (press ESC while in the game to go back there). It's annoying to use, but there's actually a few good songs being played once in a while, so it's not all that bad.
Most of the time I play I enjoy myself, and it feels kind of warmer than joining any random server, in my opinion. Oh, and use Spectator mode. Lots of people seem to enjoy watching those sprays.
Yea I wrote that post at 3 in the morning, so the swearing off the server part at the end was an overreaction, but the rest of my post stands.
To be honest, mic spam on its own really isn't that bad, and I did laugh a bit when the Poke-Theme came on…just got a little annoying when it was basically a constant thing, not to mention I couldn't hear dead-ringer spies over it >_>;

Speakin of real life Valve stuff, I am in the process of finishing my Apeture Science Weighted Companion Board. It needs a bit of sanding, glueing, and woodburning and it will be ready to make cake on.

It is???? Whenever I play, there's always friendly people on, and it's always a blast to play. And I quite enjoy the micspam, it's a nice change from silent pub servers and PS3 titles.
