I just read Paulrus-Keaton?'s post about a forum. It got me thinking…
Methinks a forum would be a solid addition. It would be great to have a place to chat with you guys, hold more competitions, and we could swap ideas for lolz too! Things like that. I seem to remember a while back, Shawn said something was in the works… I wonder what happened with that?
And hey, uh, while we're at it, I've another suggestion! A top 100 lolz list would be awesome imo. I love revisiting the few at the side, but more would be sweeeeet!
I'm not thinking that ID would let us have faves. We'd need a whole new system built in with Halolz accounts and everything. Which I would love, but I fully appreciate what a big task that would be to implement.
What's everyone's thoughts on this? I'd love to see the Halolz community step it up a level. An illustrated point here is that I'm leaving a comment on a unrelated pic because there's nowhere else to bounce ideas like this.

Another forum I used to go to also had a stickied thread on friend codes, gamertags, and the like. This would make it easier to set up holiday Brawl competitions, for example, or to just have those things on hand if we happen to see each other online.
I'm sure we could probably just get a phpBB host set up really quickly, but I'm not sure if they allow something like favorites, which I also approve of, especially since some of my favorites were posted way back when Halolz was still starting out.
But yeah, those are my thoughts.

I guess the way around that problem is to have a system kinda like on IGN where the comments at the bottom, and the thread for the article, or in this case picture, would be one and the same. But then again, that would be a shit-load of threads and a huge jobs to implement.

This idea really is a great one. As was said in other comments, we should have a thread for gamertags and friend codes as well. But, there should also be a space in the forum for the addition of a Halolz TF2, G-Mod, Counterstrike, or L4D server. But the servers could allso have their own seperate blogs, so that's something to think of as well.
As far as the top 100 list, that might have to be custom coded. Not sure about anything that could actually host it.

It'd be great to see Halolz expand, cos there's some great users here, and probably a record settingly low number of douchebags.
There's interest, but I'm guessing either people can't do it because they can't code (like me) or are too lazy to code. But once I get back to the states and back off vacation (should take till about March), I'm definitely setting up the Halolz TF2 server. Maybe by then the Halolz Forum will have launched.
