well he couldnt get the door open, kind of a big clue. Although i got thrown off by the spys pictures of the scouts mom and his reaction.
okay so here's some things you people should look for:
-sapper has a new look (the panel covered by glass is curved instead of its normal flat surface). this may mean that he gets a sliding sapper that destroys sentries either instantly or just at about the same time as the normal sapper. something to counteract it's awesomeness might be that he cant be in disguise when trying to use it
-sniper has a new hat :3
-medic isnt wearing his backpack thing
-the 'scout' had his sandman out. a friend came up with the idea that the spy killed him after they broke in using a girat wire, which is why you couldnt hear him die :o
-BLU soldier killed the BLU spy. tf2 doesnt have TK on normally :o

Watching this video, when the spy is fighting the medic, neither have the backpack, but the spy suddenly has the backpack after he catches the glasses.

Scout wasn't the spy at that time. He was covertly killed off screen while Heavy and Soldier are staring at Blue Spy's corpse, and Red Spy took his place.

That's actually a hint that the Scout is the Spy. He plays with his knife in a way that it looks like he has no idea what he is doing, but still "messes up" in a way that won't hurt him.
Pyro is not a girl. Pyro can't be a girl, get over it. They have all males, and the pyro acts more like a pet :P or something rather than a girl.
Yes but how? You would hear the scout scream in pain, unless the conspiracy theorists are right in saying that you couldn't hear the scout because the spy got a garote (spelling? Piano wire thing to choke with) but that would be like the fake update >_>
My advice is don't take the video too literally, you can't literally build three sentries with the engineer in the meet the engie video can you? And you can't literally take the sandwich and eat it as a scout from a heavy can you? (even though you can pick it up as health i think)

Yes this is by far the best 'meet the' video to come out by valve yet. That's probably why they didn't release a video with the scout update. Anyway, this video is much more cinematic, much more violent, and much more funny. I was thinking that it was the blue spy who was the spy (not sure though) but after the soldier shot him I kind of loled :P. Oh and for all those who say the pyro is a girl or the scout's mom seriously people, that makes no sense. They made the pyro like this to make him seem like a, well, pyromaniac, since you can't even understand his name. Not so that you could speculate about his gender. However they haven't made it clear because they like having conspiracy theorists flooding the TF2 forums, even making multiple fan art representing the pyro as a hot girl (oh the irony). But still, it would ruin the balance of the game. Uncovering the pyro to be a girl would ruin the impression of the pyro forever. I don't know, but when I see a pyro, how he acts, his emotes etc., it's like he's some kind of pet. Especially when you're a medic and he keeps jumping infront of you to get your attention/try to get you to heal him.
Only way for a Soldier or Heavy to remember it.

A blade has to slide across your skin to cut. Scout just bounced the blade against his hand, which can't cut no matter how hard you press.

You also should notice that the spy doesn't turn a slight red when he gets sliced by his weapon. If disguised spy's take damage, they turn red for a second.
The blue spy will be very angry when he respawns.
