That is important! You need to get in his good books because he dies of old age and will give you good shit in his will!

  2. omgwtfbbq on February 10th, 2009 1:39 am

I got Legend of the Mystical Ninja on VC and I noticed that no NPC in that game has any important stuff to say…

  3. omgwtfbbq on February 10th, 2009 1:40 am

Ehm, I think that's a "she," not a "he." Judging by the hair bun, I mean.
Also, thank you for not saying "FIRST!"

  4. MexicanJuice on February 10th, 2009 1:40 am

Of course NPCs have important things to say! Who can forget such helpful comments such as POKEMON ARE CUTE and I AM ERROR?

  5. Battlin on February 10th, 2009 2:08 am

Hmm would it be better with NPCs: Pointing out the obvious since 1970 something (when ever the first text based rpg had one).

  6. MrRaccoon on February 10th, 2009 2:14 am

NPCs play an important role: to show you're not the only person in all the game, but the only one no brainwashed. also I AM ERROR… ARE YOU?

  7. Angel.9 Rakou Cobra on February 10th, 2009 2:24 am

Anybody ever talk to the the NPC's in that horrid Mario is Missing game? I asked one guy "Where am I?" and he replied, "I like pizza. I like pizza. Ciao, baby, I'll see you!"

  8. Lolcuno on February 10th, 2009 3:03 am

  11. Stealthbladez on February 10th, 2009 5:58 am

Ugh, this cannot be worse than npc`s that tell lies, like leafos on viva pnata, shee dosent tell anything useful, and all she does is lie.

  12. Gar on February 10th, 2009 7:51 am

NPC's…loaded with all that important shit! Maybe I should caption some random converstaion with a NPC with such important shit to say and post it…honestly it can stil b quite funny…such as "Stay away from the summoner" (i loved how that old lady sounded in ffx)

  13. AuraMaster on February 10th, 2009 9:00 am

Girl in Pokemon game: The air is tasty here!

Me: Aren't you a little too young to be trippin' on shrooms, little girl?

  16. Taiho on February 10th, 2009 10:42 am

You can tell she's old because she keeps repeating herself.

  17. Miketuu on February 10th, 2009 10:15 am

    HL2 Rebel: Sometimes, I dream about cheese…
Gordon: Just give me a medkit.

  18. kenpachi15 on February 10th, 2009 9:19 pm

  20. Gamegeneral on February 10th, 2009 10:12 pm

What the hell game is this? Also Npcs are genetically altered clones of normal people in games. for every person in a game you have a normal conversation with, ten others have conversations with you that have nothing to do with whats going on.

  21. MrRaccoon on February 10th, 2009 10:30 pm

In real life, NPC's are supermodels and office workers of the goverment

  22. portal on February 11th, 2009 12:49 am

I read this and the first thing that came to my mind was portal….what a annoying npc……..

  23. Akzie on February 11th, 2009 12:56 am

    I loved that game.
they left very little clue's to where mario was

    GOTTA FIND A PAMPHLET

  24. Akzie on February 11th, 2009 12:58 am

    i loved that robot

  25. Angel.9 Rakou Cobra on February 11th, 2009 1:36 am

One would hope, but apparently he has to go ask random people where he is, so they can tell him they think they need to wear a suit because the country's shaped like a boot.

  26. Mr. Lopez on February 11th, 2009 3:11 am

    Like in fallout 3

"Just leave me alone. Just leave me alone. Just leave me alone."

  27. Juggernaut470 on February 11th, 2009 2:02 am

also like in Fable 2, i was woodchopping, and two people kept on having the same converstion again and again and again and again, until i got frustrated with them and blew their heads off.

  28. Random_Man on February 11th, 2009 1:07 am

I don't know, most RPG game NPC have information that they shouldn't know, like when you need information on a quest you are doing and random people tell you stuff…

I also like it when I break into people's houses and they don't seem to mind, like in any pokemon game, they will just be like, "Did you know that Mew-two is a clone of Mew?" and I'll be like "Put the money in the bag, this is a robbery"

  29. Paulrus on February 11th, 2009 5:19 pm

Greatest NPC ever was the eskimo from Goonies 2 for the NES.

"I am eskimo. There is nothing here" he would say when you found him randomly standing in a freezer somewhere in the underground.

  30. omgwtfbbq on February 11th, 2009 9:53 pm

That is weird…I've never met a character in an RPG who was mad when I was breaking and entering their house, and then stealing their goods from their mysterious chests.

  31. Zink120 on February 11th, 2009 10:57 pm

It's terrifying, isn't it? It's like a clockwork massive nose with a really unconvincing fake moustache.
Even worse though is Jynx. I've always been weirded out by Jynx. Here's its Pokedex entry:
"It cries sound like human speech. However, it is impossible to tell what it is trying to say."
    WTF were they thinking?!?!?!

  32. santy on February 12th, 2009 5:36 pm

NPC sez: ProTip:use the D-Pad to move

  33. omgwtfbbq on February 12th, 2009 8:26 pm

    SCRAHHH!!
OMG…It'd have to be a legendary.

  34. Your MOM on October 29th, 2009 6:11 pm

The NPCs in Fable:TLC are the worst. "Good Morning, Sir Arseface."
