WRONG!
brawndo originally came first from the movie Idiocracy. powerthirst was someone's take on brawndo after seeing the movie. the commercials may have come out the other way around, but brawndo is the original.
that, and brawndo is real.
people need originality. i've seen maybe 500+ of these kinds of things and it's just gotten repetitive and boring.

Not true. Powerthirst came before Idiocracy. Whoever made the Brawndo VIDEO after Idiocracy was just making a ripoff of the Powerthirst commercials.
actually dude, i never saw idiocracy, but it's on my list of movies i want to see. just never got around to it. and i've heard mixed reviews, but i'm curious enough to want to try it
ok, i looked it up on wikipedia. according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idiocracythe original commercial for brawndo was created after power thirst. HOWEVER, brawndo itself was created before power thirst. therefore, it was like i said; brawndo came first in creation, but had their commercials based off the power thirst ones. i just worded it weird.
The Brawndo ad wasn't all "X IS LIKE Y BUT WITH Z," which is a common problem with imitators -- they focus too much on one specific aspect of the original and beat it to death.
Thank god someone else saw that movie… it was horrible and awesome all at the same time!
