You should have seen Deviantart when that movie first came out. If you actually counted, and spent maybe 10 minutes on the home page, you could have easily counted to 60, or more. It was bad.

First try or not, this fails. Just (not really) constructive criticism is all.
First of all, it’s B-mac, not B-man.
Second of all, that doesn’t change the fact that this pic fails. Look at the score. Bad spelling ruins jokes.
Go back through the archives. There are hundreds of pictures with lolspeak, and many of them are funny as hell. This one is subpar, I agree, but hell, its good for a first try. If you hate the picture so much why do you come back to just talk about it more and more?
Anyway, it was alright for a first attempt. The Dark Knight hasn’t even TOUCHED Halolz, so to put it frankly, I’m not suprised Shawn put one in here eventually.

2. They are NOT funny. It looks like a 3 year old made the pictures, and that alone takes away most of the possible amusement. If it had said “Why so serious?”, it would’ve gotten a much higher score.
I am a Grammar Nazi. Just look at the way I type. It’s flawless! I even get capital letters right! You should all be like me and have the same sense of humor and chuckle whenever I read correctly spelled jokes.

I’m not always negative. I’m only negative against un-funny pictures, like many others on this site. I’m not exactly in the minority about this picture. Say, why are people getting after me while a bunch of other people declare this a failure as well?

I’m not completely against lolspeak, it’s just not funny in pictures anymore. There are many, funnier pictures being posted now that don’t include lolspeak. Besides, one of my favorite series is Arby ‘n’ the Chief, because the use of lolspeak is actually funny. If it was a chief gimmick, then it’s certainly losing a lot of popularity on this site.

I guess why people are getting at you is because you explained your (rather aggressive) dislike for this picture with a reason that goes against the grain of this site. You frequent a site titled “Halolz”, you have to expect lolspeak to turn up. To turn around and call it “retarded” and used by “idiotic losers” not only mocks yourself, because you’re a member of a website where lolspeak is common, but calls into question exactly why you’re here. The others are just as bad, in that they give fairly insubstantial reasons or no reasons at all for hating this (apparently, it’s very hard to say “Bad photoshopping” or “bad use of motivation poster” or such), but when you use a blanket comment such as “lolspeak is for idiotic losers and sucks”, you’re bound to get called out.
We’re not questioning the quality of this photo. We all agree that this is substandard, though some of us can articulate our views and make them constructive. We’re questioning why you’re out making broad comments relating to a common occurence on this site and then not only flip-flopping on them (”I’m not completely against lolspeak” vs “lolspeak, as idiotic users put it, is not funny at all”), but failing to offer anything constructive to the poster other than “It’s pathetic, Sucky Saturday, rah rah rah”.

I felt I needed to explain myself a little. lol.
A lot of people have been saying tthings about the actual quality of the work. “Photoshopped badly” etc. I just thought I should tell people that I was actually using paint for this. I don’t have photoshop anymore, it died in the ass on me. I attempted to use picnik (however you spell it) to photoshop, but my net’s just not fast enough. =(
I have to admit though, I was as surprised as the rest of you to have my submission accepted. It WAS my first, and I’ll do better next time. ^_^
As for the lolspeak, ya, this website is called halolz. That’s the only thing I’m having difficulty figuring out? =/ ?

Meh. I loved The Dark Knight and HL as the Joker was awesomely phenomenal. However, I felt (even with the paint usage and whetnot) that this could have been done a bit better. And even if this is a site based on the principles of lolspeak, I felt the actual correctness of the words could’ve increased its hilarity. One last thing, wrong model. Zach just doesn’t look or fit the bill, and it could’ve been more… hilar-able??? with a different character.
