For no apparent reason… I decided to add Gravatars to the site today! Finally you can set an avatar that will appear next to your comments.
Not that you have to make one… you can always just keep the wacky default avatar I put in!
But yeah, I guess Gravatar has pretty much become the standard in WordPress avatars now… so if you setup a quick account with them and add an avatar, that avatar will carry over to other WordPress blogs that use avatars. So hey, why not, right?
And also, while you’re at it… it never hurts to register with the Halolz site itself. Besides storing all your user info for commenting, there are some other features I’ll be adding to the site soon that may require registration. May as well get all the busy work done now!
Edit: I forgot to mention, after setting up your avatar it takes like 15 minutes before your avatar actually starts to appear. I have no idea why!

Noticed that showing up on the site earlier and tried to figure out how it worked. Awesome; makes people easier to identify when reading through the comments.
Starwolf will haunt us forever now.
Even when we all have different and shiny unique Gravatars, the new guy will post, and Wolf will be there with his horrible and conceited look staring at us…

Make sure you use the same email when commenting that you used to make a Gravatar account, and it should automatically work.

I accidently signed up with Wordpress first, and then tried merging my account on Wordpress to Gravatar… If I’m forced to choose a new username (on Gravatar), would it still work with my current Halolz/Wordpress one?
*The merger failed btw… I tried a few more times, but still nothing. I’ll try again a few more times… I’ll post again if it works.

Ah, that seems to have fixed it… though it’s annoying that it has to be in lowercase letters for it to work :/

Erm, for those who are confused, i got it to work by having both the email here and on gravatar lowercase. After you change it to lowercase, change your gravatar again, and it SHOULD work
