Dewott and Samurott are both pretty awesome, and this picture is very well done. That said, I prefer Serperior. It has great defense and speed and is a grass type so it works out perfectly for some annoying techniques. (Toxic, Leech seed, protect, and giga drain = looong battle that greatly angers your opponents.
Also, while Dewott is pretty cool (if still a bit silly looking) it still doesn't really stack up with the other water types.
We've got a badass steel penguin.

A giant blue alligator (okay, so Feraligator doesn't stack up)
And Mudkip

Dude is underestimated if well liked. Mudkip is one of only a handful of pokemon that can learn counter and mirror coat. Its evolved forms have very balanced stats and are water/ground types (which have a lot of advantages and one dang weakness.) It's versatile, unique, and MUDKIP.

OBJECTION! Mudkip itself cannot deal significant damage to said Dewott, as it's move pool has no grass or electric type moves. At the very least, Dewott has Grass Knot, which, while not having a large amount of damage, is still super effective. Mudkip's base HP is only 50, while Dewott's is 75. Still, Mudkip is one of the goofier-looking starters, despite it's awesomeness. I support Dewott in every endeavor, and Mudkip as well. MUDKIP.

The only difference between mudkip and oshawott is that mudkip knows when to not press the goddam B button.
Pure grass types in general are very "meh" in my opinion. Too many type weaknesses to extremely common types (Fire/Ice are very standard in competitive play to counter steels and dragons) I would drool over a dream world snivy though, a Leaf Storm that doubled in power after each use o_o
