  11. Cheat2Win on September 13th, 2008 9:40 pm

  14. xintolerablex on September 13th, 2008 10:05 pm

    How come I haven’t seen any Hurricane Ike Turner jokes anywhere? “Get your ass in the car, Anna-Mae!”

  15. Jake the Tank on September 13th, 2008 10:14 pm

    Well, I live in Fort Bend County(its pretty fucking close to Galveston county, but we went north of Llano, Texas(to a deer lease) but when we came back, only 1 tree fell down(broke a fence) and a shitload of limbs fell down.

    I do hope they get all of the refineries up and running soon, or gas prices will skyrocket (even outside of texas)

    4/5. Funny, but cause i’ve seen so many Ike puns it knocks it down a notch. But this has to he the Funniest.

  17. Mace on September 13th, 2008 10:48 pm

    I’m in austin, and Ike didn’t even touch us. It didn’t even rain here… I was disappointed.

  18. zinraidragon on September 13th, 2008 11:31 pm

    From what I heard on the news, Texas didn’t take Ike’s advice lol

  19. Vephoma on September 13th, 2008 11:51 pm

    I’m in Dallas, and it has rained all day! I work in a home improvement store, and we’ve been selling and donating generators and plywood to our friends south of us. I hope everyone from Huston is in a safe and warm place tonight!

  20. KidWithTheFace on September 14th, 2008 1:31 am

    oh ike…just when i thought all your humor was spent…they name a hurricane after you.

  21. Shadow Link on September 14th, 2008 1:43 am

    Prolly, and I’ll be going with you. Care to dine there sometime?

  22. sir_auronDX on September 14th, 2008 2:17 am

    Ike fights for his friends. Like katrina

  23. Rayza B on September 14th, 2008 7:07 am

    So Ike hates America?

  24. xMDx on September 14th, 2008 7:31 am

    GREAT WEATHERRR!

  25. piclemaniscool on September 14th, 2008 7:50 am

    aww crap. I gave it a 4 but later changed my mind. It looked like there was nothing to get at first, but think about it; Ike is a Heavy Character in Brawl. All of his moves are very slow, but very powerful. I think He’ll “use Aether” once he gets to the shore, because there’ll be like 20 ft of watercoming in.

    Also, this is different to 9/11 posts. It is a NATURAL disaster, not an act of terrorism. Plus, it hasnt even hit mainland yet. (those poor cubans can’t get a break). I suffered 1st hand from katrina for over a year. I’d laugh at any katrina joke.

    well, maybe not ANY…

    10 INTERNETS TO THE FIRST PERSON TO SUBMIT AN “I LIKE IKE JOKE”

  27. Deadalive on September 14th, 2008 2:11 pm

    Does that mean that the evil godess lives in texas? :D
    (From the Fire Emblem 10 story)

  28. G1drake on September 14th, 2008 3:23 pm

    hurricane ike used great aether………………………its super efective

  29. The Silent One on September 15th, 2008 1:46 am

    Oh dear god ROFL.

  30. killercartoons on September 15th, 2008 1:55 pm

    well we can keep on making these jokes the same way one after another, or we can do something new and funnier with them. anyone? anyone?

  31. Exploderizer on September 15th, 2008 4:11 pm

    @Shadow Link
    THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAA.
    @KidWithTheFace
    I agree with you 100%./end@
    Has anyone but me notice that the hurricane pattern is the exact same shape as when Ike starts to use Great Aether in SSBB?

  32. Exploderizer on September 15th, 2008 4:12 pm

    WE LIKE IKE!

  33. MrSunshine028 on September 15th, 2008 7:16 pm

    LOL, me and my friends were playing Rock Band 2 when suddenly the wind picked up in Muncie, Indiana the windows in the house shook and the lights flickered for a split second. We dropped what we were doing all ran outside and tried to walk through the rushing wind. Someone said, “Fuck it, Ike is here” while another right after states “PREPARE YOURSELF!” and indeed Ike took a turn from Texas to Indiana to show that he does indeed shows no sympathy.

  34. spider (\(\;;/)/) on September 16th, 2008 7:47 pm

    DARN YOU IKE! because of YOU my house is GONE…… but the post is funny don’t take it out because I am a homeless bum now

  35. DominicanKing614 on September 16th, 2008 9:05 pm

    lol the hurricane ike jokes are ALOT funnier than the 9/11 jokes … i think it is because its a natural disaster and not terrorism like that other guy said … and besides lots of structural damage not that many lives have been taken … i pray for all the people suffering there now but these jokes are still funny guys

  36. Rodrigo on September 17th, 2008 5:01 pm

    I wonder where are all those 911 whinners bitching about this one?

    4/5

  37. Exploderizer on September 17th, 2008 5:36 pm

    I hate all the people that were bitchin’ about hurricane Ike. He’s more of the fire kind of guy, so be happy NOTHING fell from the sky that day, cuz you’d all be roasted to death.

  38. Happy on September 18th, 2008 4:57 am

    @Rodrigo: I bet if Fox News were to hold a half-hour special on Ike there would be a lot more sympathy for the victims.

    Also stop submitting Ike jokes, people, they’ve already been done.

  39. Pigeon Army on September 18th, 2008 5:09 am

    @Rodrigo

    What the hell are “whinners”?

  40. MrSunshine028 on September 18th, 2008 5:55 am

    @Happy: I totally agree with your comment except for the part with Fox News. I believe Fox News would blame Japan for creating a character named Ike from Fire Emblem, that so happen to be the name of this hurricane, that consequently attacked American soil. Fox News gotta love for getting their facts straight. Oh and for Fox News’s evidence… this very picture. Fox Reporter “you can see here on this satellite image that this hurricane resembles the so-called Ike and he his showing no sympathy”

  41. Animedevildog on September 18th, 2008 10:13 am

    @Pigeon Army
    I think it’s just a case that Rodrigo is a poor speller. I can relate where as I failed freshman english three years in a row…

  42. Kinoc on December 7th, 2008 9:27 pm

    well he did give them a fair warning i guess

  43. Gaandolf on January 16th, 2011 10:30 am

    You'll get no sympathy from him, for he fights for his friends.
