You're right, not all Charmeleons are misbehaved at all. Mine was fine. Others in the show were fine to.

No, Ash was just a shit trainer.

....What? It has to be said!

"Hello, good evening, and welcome to the battle.

My friend, you and I are not monsters. We're not mindless brutes. We're dynamic beings with beautiful minds. I can even see that excellent spark of brilliance and creativity in that dear head of yours. Don't be modest, I can see that aura of capability that you possess, and it's very admirable. I have that special knack of finding such specialties in my opponents, you see.

But with that said, I'm as much compelled to detail an unfortunate flaw in your defenses. Oh, now don't feel ashamed. Many whom I've met share this... fatal weakness to fire. Ah! I can see it in your reaction. Not a fan of fire at all, now are we? Not fond of fire spin? Ember? Not even an inferno attack? I thought not.

Now, I could simply start with a slash attack, to give you a sporting chance. After all, I would never wish to snuff out the flames of battle without first appreciating its glow. However, my master does not take well upon his disobedient children. In short, I'll alert you that my accomplices might not take such leniency with your... unfortunate vulnerability.

Mm, so it seems my order has been called; an ember attack, it seems. Who knows, perhaps I'll miss you. Yet, given this specialty attack's impeccable precision, I doubt that will be the case. In either case, I've enjoyed this little chat, my attentive opponent. May the flames of battle never die out in your heart.

Now please die."

I do believe this warrants a call back to a smashing piece of writing by own our monocle sporting gentleman, Shawn Handyside. That then warranted a dramatic reading.

Are you implying that it is possible to catch a Charmeleon and I've been unaware this whole time?
