DUAL WIELDING - IT'S NOT JUST FOR RPG'S ANYMORE!

All those skill points were well invested… now if only she could wield two flamethrowers at once! If anyone can figure out a way she can!

Shawn, face it, it's a guy.

It doesn't make you any less of a man that you fapped to all that Pyro hentai.

    Okay it does.

  4. DM1293 on August 4th, 2010 1:05 am

And for Pyro's next level, dual-wielding flare guns.

  8. TheFancyPants on August 4th, 2010 1:26 am

Great, now the Pyro really is the ultimate anti-zombie class.
    THANK YOU SCIENCE!

  9. FrEEz on August 4th, 2010 1:28 am

    Shawn…

    I am Dissapoint.

The Pyro is not a girl. End of story. Just looking at the body is obvious. Pyroes are cute. More like a pet dog or something than a girl.

  10. KamikazeGible on August 4th, 2010 1:50 am

I think all those spies have awakened the inner Kingdom Hearts character in him.

  11. Nick Soapdish on August 3rd, 2010 10:00 pm

Unfortunately the pyro suffers an attack penalty on their main hand and off hand weapon for dual wielding. This penalty may be reduced depending on what feats the pyro chooses.

  12. AuraMaster on August 4th, 2010 2:17 am

The Pyro looks a lot like General Grievous here.

  16. El_bruno on August 4th, 2010 3:16 am

Dual wielding is considered for RPGs only? Pfft! In Goldeneye you could equip a machine gun and a grenade launcher at the SAME TIME

  17. fmarulz on August 4th, 2010 3:17 am

    (SPOILERS: Pyro is Rochelle)

  21. Tifakitteh on August 3rd, 2010 11:52 pm

This raises the question that has been on my mind for quite a while; what IS an RPG?

I know, you know and everybody knows by now it stands for Role-Playing Game (also Rocket-Propelled Grenade but this isn't the matter at hand).

But what is a "Role-Playing Game"? Is it being a silent protagonist clad in green, rolling around claiming pieces of golden cheese? Is it fighting gods and angels and giant mechs with over-sized swords and gravity-defying hairstyles?

But seriously… what makes a game an RPG? Non-linear story? Quests? Playing different characters? The ability to have the game develop differently from a play-through to another? Having statistics that shows and increase as your character gains experience? Having interactions with other players/NPCs? Seeing your character grow up, mature and learn more about his world, and himself?

I currently work in a video game store, and I am totally lost as to the definition of RPG. When people who aren't too much into gaming ask me, "but what is 'RPG'?" I actually am kinda confused.
    What is RPG to you?

  22. Ataeru on August 4th, 2010 3:52 am

    OBJECTION!
we do not know defiantly if the one who is named pyro is either male or female. thus should be refered by "it" or by it's name.

  23. Daifuku on August 4th, 2010 4:07 am

Now for the question on everyone's mind: Do you really want a Heavy dual wielding Sasha?

  24. Dimomarg on August 4th, 2010 12:34 am

Did anybody else think of pyro drumming when they saw this?

  25. Marzen on August 4th, 2010 4:46 am

    She?

Shawn, Valve are supposed to be the trolls, not you.

  26. leelongyee on August 4th, 2010 4:56 am

bahhh shawn, we all know the pyro's a robot

  27. Montablac on August 4th, 2010 6:32 am

    the pyro is a WAR/NIN!?!?

ill +1 if you know what im on about

  28. Tael on August 4th, 2010 6:41 am

MY FISTS, WHICH I CAN DUAL WIEEEEEEEEEEEEELD!

  29. supreme_slayer on August 4th, 2010 3:27 pm

Sadly, the Flamethrower is a 2-handed weapon, so unless Pyro had the racial feature of Oversized (thus allowing 2-handed weapons to be wielded as a 1-handed weapon), or had Feats stacked to allow such an ability to exist, there is no way to dual-wield a flamethrower.

P.S. The person who submitted the image was likely a female.

You are signifying that it's a she, he/she is gender neutral, but most likely male..
