So, what, that's it? No more Halolz? I'm not accepting this shit. Yeah, I cursed. I went there.
So since it doesn't seem like Halolz is updating any time soon, time to do a little advertising!
People should consider donating to WayForward's Kickstarter to raise funds for the production of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero.
Unfortunately all the hype (and therefore potential money) seems to have been drained by the fact that the project was launched right around the same time as Mighty No. 9's, and it's slowed down quite a bit. Nevermind the awesome stretch goals, the game itself seems like it might fall short, despite asking for a relatively low amount ($400,000, compared to Mighty No. 9's $900,000 and the goddamn Ouya's ridiculous $950,000).
So yeah, any help would be awesome. Even if you're only donating for the rewards. A mere $15 will net you a copy of the game once it comes out (for reference, $15 is what they cited as the minimum possible price for when the game does come out, so essentially it's a pre-order if it does get funded).
And if numbers don't excite you, look! Cute half-genie girl!

Ehhhh, how many days has it been since we got an update?
I really hate it when a site I like slowly dies. I hate it more when I had invested a chunk of my free time to it. Shawn's busy doing his shirt business, I have no idea where Trunks is.
I love Halolz. I check it constantly. It'd been in my Top 8 quick tabs in Chrome for years now. Every time I come back and see that this is the most recent update I die a little more each time.
This is really sad. I love this site and I feel like it's dying. Been a fan for a couple years and now it's coming to an end.
Jon left Gamegrumps, and now this shit.
On a lighter note, I've turned this into a game. I'm taking bets on which updates first. This site, or VGCats. It's anyone's guess!
