Yeah! Let's spend 12 dollars (or 120+ pesos) on a lil' piece of plastic to raise $6500 bucks to help get our forums back, even though Shawn and Trunks owe us our forums for the past one and a half years!
Surely we'll make it!
If you donated for the sole purpose of hoping to get the forums back, please revoke your donation or contact me personally.
In the coming weeks, while I'm on the road, I'll be spending some time reconstructing the forums to bring them back. The vocal part of the community has made it clear that they're unhappy with me posting it as an incentive. That's fair. So instead of doing it at $6,500 (which is the price for the cost of doing our deluxe boxes), I'm going to forego it and bring them back anyways.

All that said, if you backed it because you ALSO thought it was a fun, silly idea, I welcome the donation. I just don't want anyone who donated for the sole purpose of getting the forums back (which from what I understand, there were a few) to feel that they were coerced.

After reading both sides of the arguments on this post, all I can say is that I have never seen any of you guys genuinely raging so hard. There seems to have been a lot of pent up agression and plenty of misunderstanding on several people's parts. Was not expecting this when I first viewed the comments. Here's hoping it's out of everybody's systems and we can get back to making jokes about video games.
