In the beginning of the first Zelda game the old man proclaims “It’s dangerous to go alone, take this” and Link picks up the sword. Of course he’s still alone, just alone with a sword.
I didn’t remember the exact quote, sorry everybody. If it was irresponsible to send a small child into epic danger with a sword it’s more so to give a cat, but least he wouldn’t be alone.
