*50 years from now*
"But Grandpa, why would you play the campaign if you couldn't post your scores to a leadeboard?"
That awkward moment
When you need to find a fairy to heal with
Because your fairy won't shut up
Meanwhile at Blizzard:
"They'll rage, but in the end it'll just make them want the game more!"
"Yessss. Yeeesss. Bwahahaha!"
I'm not going to go on a huge rant but… lets just say the open beta has not convinced me to buy diablo 3 when it comes out D:
I suppose it's like that cause they wanna watch you play with yourself.
That's never happened to me

That awesome moment when you play multiplayer without internet because it's a LAN party.

And then this happens, and you rage.
That Awkward Moment: when Shawn puts something up for a game you've yet to try.
Well life is a single player game, but once those servers overload, you're pretty much screwed.
That awkward moment when you want to make a witty comment
but all the good comments are taken.
Hm… I guessing it's something like Disgaea 4 then?
I mean, you're like, playing the game and then pirates arrive in your game and annihilate you
Well considering that this is somewhat relevant, I'm just going to inform you guys of some cool information I got.
Check this out:
Nintendo (in Japan) is planning on making Dragon Quest X: The Five Tribes for the Nintendo Wii AND Wii U and it's going to be similar to Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies but with multiplayer co-op and a single player campaign BUT…
You have to have internet access to play most of the main story.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Now, if that's not a problem, here's the kicker: Nintendo is debating on wether or not to make it a monthly fee to play.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
On the positive side? You can gain experience even when not playing because other players can "hire" your character to join their party and you'll gain experience the next time you're online. I have also read that the game will be cross compatible.

Steam, in a nutshell.
That awkward moment when you have an awkward moment and you'd like to post it,
But everyone posted their awkward moments posts and it would be awkward to post your awkward moment post.
That awkward moment…
…when you realize you're going to buy it anyway.
Looks like Blizzard went to Artix Camp for the summer and actually learned something!

Too bad that something learned wasn't good…
This is what is wrong with Steam. Fuck Steam, offline games for great justice!
that akward moment when you realize diablo 3 isnt a single player game… seriouslt i was playing it with my friends all weekend
This wouldn't happen if valve had made Diablo III ;>_>
-_- steam lets you play offline, sign in once to get the game up and running, afterwards you can be in offline mode and it doesn't care. Steam likes its update baby crack, yes it does, yes it does.
that awkward moment when you realize the D3 beta supported multiplayer gameplay. i was playing with my friends all weekend. you must be what this one is talking about http://www.halolz.com/2012/04/21/you-have-no-frie…
That awkward moment when you realize Blizzard's singleplayer is about as important as Unreal Tournament's botmatches
