In the second panel, Captain Falcon has already initiated his punch at the same time time the Pokeball appeared on the stage. It would take just one second from the time the Captain readies his punch as depicted to unleash his fiery wallop upon Kirby. One second is far too small of a time frame for the Pokeball to fall from it's position, hit Kirby, open up, and unleash Wobbuffet onto the stage.
I estimate it would take 2 to 3 seconds minimum for events to unfold as depicted, whereupon Kirby would be but a speck on the horizon.
That's not the real Captain Falcon.

Last panel…why is Wobbuffet so…excited?

4. Redzeroine on September 30th, 2011 12:09 pm

There's something that puts me off in that last panel. It might be the Wobueffet's lower half but it could also be the fact that a Falcon Punch should never lose.

5. Senor_Pantalones on September 30th, 2011 11:10 am

Wobbuffet, only creature in the universe that can survive a Falcon Punch…

6. Guppy06 on September 30th, 2011 12:11 pm

Hit over over 9000!

7. AuraMaster on September 30th, 2011 12:26 pm

So this is what Wobbuffet did before he joined Team Musclemon.

8. RickO_ on September 30th, 2011 12:31 pm

This comic is fake. No one, NO ONE, takes a Falcon Punch™ and lives to tell the tale.

However you could say Wobbuffet….showed him the moves…

9. Macross2020 on September 30th, 2011 11:31 am

Later that night Wobbuffet suddenly dies of an aneurysm brought about by severe mental trauma….No one survives a Falcon Punch.

11. UndeadLex on September 30th, 2011 11:34 am

But who threw the pokeball?

12. Jakben Imbel on September 30th, 2011 12:36 pm

Dear god, that Wobbuffet's eyebrows even have muscles!

13. Zain_Bloodbane on September 30th, 2011 12:41 pm

*ahem* The Falco-oon Pawnch is not to be confused with the Falcon Punch. The Falco-onn Pawnch is a move that was first introduced against Falco when he first fought Captain Falcon. After the Captain utterly defeated Falco he nicknamed this move using his opponent's name and continued to use it against aerial enemies. (The "-oon" portion was added as that was the sound Falco had made after he recovered from a three week coma) As Kirby does often tend to float in battle it seemed sensible for Captain Falcon to use this method, but what he can never take into account is when items will randomly spawn mid-fight. As Wobbuffet is unable maintain a hover/float/fly form the Falco-onn Pawch was rendered useless therefore resulting in a technicality. This has been Zain Bloodbane with your untimely dose of unrealistic and illogical logic. And if all that doesn't make sense then it's probably Wolf in disguise, and if that's the case then all I have to say is this: THAT CAPTAIN'S A SPY! I don't know. I'm tired. I'm going to bed now. Good night everybody.

Look at Captain Falcon's damage in the 9th panal. IT'S OVER 9000!!!

15. Darkangelsv1 on September 30th, 2011 1:00 pm

Did Kirby just say Puyo?
<img src="http://www.puyonexus.net/intro/images/puyo_cut_small.png">

…no one?… really? Oh well.
*goes back to playing hours upon hours of Puyo Puyo games without anyone noticing*

if only we can combine some sort of hybrid where a shuckle-blissey-and-wobuffet is combined with black-magic/science

17. Vlauer on September 30th, 2011 1:13 pm

I do love, that Wobbuffet obliterated Falcon so badly, he flew off the comic frame.

18. AuraBlaze on September 30th, 2011 1:23 pm

Is Soviet Final Destination, you punch falcon.

He's right behind me, isn't he?

19. HughbertEsq on September 30th, 2011 1:44 pm

I'm feeling French today, So….

20. Mindlessinvalid on September 30th, 2011 1:47 pm

Wobuffett is a veritable schmorgasboard of misery and despair. He's got a spread of knuckle sandviches, mugs o' hurt, platters of pain, bottles of bruising, stale French baguettes (known for their incredible close quarters stopping power) and a healthy serving of canned whoop-ass.

The engineer (who specializes in delivering pain) would say that this pokemon is a obviously a "Wah Buffet"

That Kirby face in the last panel… FULL OF WIN! And only to be accompanied by the ever mighty WOBBUFFET!!

Captain Falcon can obviously withstand something with the power of his own attacks. It is the law.

There comes a time 'twixt life and death
When all men stop to catch their breath
We ask the stars 'why', we question are lot
The heavens open wide and reply "WYNAUT"

26. CriticalQuit on September 30th, 2011 4:14 pm

What does the scouter say about that power level?

Anyone who enjoys even the most simple of math should be laughing now.

I love how angry this is making the falcon fans.

29. Jimmy on September 30th, 2011 5:42 pm

You spelled BOSS wrong. LMAO.

Still epic.

30. Omnomynous on September 30th, 2011 5:58 pm

Wait a second. As we know, Falcon Punches have the power to be seen from other Galaxies and destroy planets. Wobbufet's counter Doubles the damage of an attack and sends it back at the said opponent.

So, with that knowledge, couldn't wobbufet be the only thing that could destroy Captain Falcon?

31. smartmonkey on September 30th, 2011 7:43 pm

The only way to win against wobbuffet is to not fight.
(till he dispear)

32. venustoise on September 30th, 2011 8:44 pm

captain falcon's damage, IT'S OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

33. Linkaro on September 30th, 2011 8:58 pm

Come at him, Cap.

34. Rocker23220 on September 30th, 2011 9:03 pm

Bit of a random question, but I gotta know. Did anyone else read "I have you now!!!" in Darth Vader's voice??? Maybe that's just because I watched the original trilogy the other day……

35. Linkaro on September 30th, 2011 9:37 pm

I love the fact that Wobby added 8963% damage to C. Falcon, making his damage percentage over 9000% and knocking him out of the stage.

36. KungFuDeli on September 30th, 2011 10:24 pm

Kirby's like, "oh shit!"
Captain Falcon's like, "oh shit!"
I'm like, "oh shit!"
and Wobbuffet is like, "BITCH PLEASE!"

37. Dycro on October 1st, 2011 2:26 am

Falcon was all "FALCOON" and Wabuffet was all "CROSS-COUNTAH!"

38. Ovahdrive on October 1st, 2011 2:36 am

I am extremely sdrunk ringht now. I just thought Id let you knwo.

40. BTSnoogans on October 1st, 2011 5:48 am

Wobbuffet is a bows? Like bows and arrows or the bows you play violins with?

41. Omnomynous on October 1st, 2011 10:25 am

HOLD IT!

Another revelation! When Wobbuffet used counter, it did 9001 damage, correct? Counter deals double the damage of an attack. That would mean that the falcon punch is under 9000 attack power, which is impossible.

The conclusion: There is NO WAY that's the true captain falcon!

42. JboneDRS on October 1st, 2011 5:08 pm

I guess Wobalfbaf whatever you spell it was more unmovable than the pawnch was unstoppable…

43. Draucus on October 2nd, 2011 10:01 pm

HAHA, Wobbuffet's power level is over nine-thousand!
As you can see by Capt. Falcon's damage.
