I don't have a clever comment. Again. But since I appear to be the first one here, here's a picture from Shawn's Facebook with a humorous caption.

You can tell it is authentic because of the hardhat. Later forgeries would feature Ten Gallons and other hats not available to gamers back in the Renaissance.

Alright… now all we need is a trollface on Michelangelo's David

It's funny how this work of art was created because Leonardo asked Nopa Lisa if he could smile for him.

And on that day the commenters wept.

The slight contemptuous frown and the subtle feeling of the viewer being denied are some of the many traits that true art connoisseurs are amazed by each and every time they view this piece. It is safe to assume that this piece of art has influenced many a young artist to attempt a similar formula such as yeah.avi and damnit.avi with varying results.

Now all we need is Da Vinci's Vitruvian Demoman.

(I would make this picture, but sadly I can't photoshop or draw).

Never has such a simple denial been portrayed so wonderfully, or expertly like this *sniffle-snaff*

  22. Kristoph Gavin on June 16th, 2011 4:46 pm

    Nope.

  23. Kristoph Gavin on June 16th, 2011 4:48 pm

    OBJECTION!

His name is DA VINCI, not DA MEDICI!

The Medici were the rulers of Italy at the time, but *slams desk* Leonardo was NOT OF THE ROYAL FAMILY!
