SCREEE! (Jello Metroid)

Man, I have no idea why I never posted this pic… my friend Claire made it almost a year ago! Still, as a metroid made of jello, it retains all of its awesomeness… so I’m posting it now! Yeah!

  23. SpitefulMushroom on June 26th, 2008 2:57 pm

I assume the recipe is like this:

    3 fresh strawberries
    Thing of green Jell-O
some sort of candies for the pincers

Make Jell-O as directed on box, but use a circular bowl of some sort (half-sphere cake pans if you can find them) to hold the Jell-O as it is refridgerated.
Put the strawberries in the stabilized jell-o, turn out onto a plate, stick candies in and there you go.

  24. Evitron on June 26th, 2008 3:55 pm

So…would it technically be called ‘mello’?

  25. Zeroshimako on June 26th, 2008 4:35 pm

    Spitefullmushroom, I think you have to but the strawberries in before the jello hardens. >_>;

  26. MexicanJuice on June 26th, 2008 4:41 pm

Jell-O doesn’t harden. It’s the opposite of hard!

  27. Red on June 26th, 2008 6:58 pm

    Mmmm that’s good parasite!

  28. Captain Random on June 26th, 2008 7:11 pm

Why are some metroids blue and others green? You could make multiple flavors of metroid snacks!!!

  29. Setsuna Setsunai on June 26th, 2008 7:38 pm

    @ Spiteful Mushroom
See, I gathered everything but the “some sort of candies” part. I mean, those aren’t almonds, nor are they anything I can readily identify. I also get the feeling a silicon mold might also be helpful for Jello, at least until I can find another non-stick solution.

  30. Eight-Ball on June 26th, 2008 8:14 pm

    @ Setsuna

I think those are the 1.00$ packs of orange cream candy slices.

    Quick! Use the Ice Beam!
