    @Caelun:

    The Spy (Neutral Evil) is saying "Gentlemen" (or it could be Gentleman, but more likely the former).

  2. Scuzz on June 19th, 2008 5:29 pm

    Yeah, I'd switch the Spy and the Solider. The Spy plays by (his own) rules, but the Solider doesn't much worry about who he's blowing up.

    I also take issue with the Scout being "good" in any way. Scouts are evil. Pure, pure evil. Grrrrrrrrrrrr…

  3. Evitron on June 19th, 2008 7:37 pm

    Seen this before but it’s hilarious nonetheless.

  4. Burnt Eyes on June 19th, 2008 7:43 pm

    Some of them are a little hard to read, but still funny!

  5. Paulrus on June 19th, 2008 7:45 pm

    Oh, D&D? No wonder I don’t get it….

  6. Vextoz on June 19th, 2008 7:54 pm

    What the hell is the engineer trying to say???

  7. Orion Fury on June 19th, 2008 8:04 pm

    I agree with Vextoz, is there a better pic out there?

  8. burnoutspartan on June 19th, 2008 8:07 pm

    o_O Great references, but I don’t how it has to do with D&D..
    4/5

  9. MushroomBoy on June 19th, 2008 8:12 pm

    @ vextoz

    “I built that~!”

  10. Dan on June 19th, 2008 9:00 pm

    Funny, they just removed four of those alignments. Spoiler alert, there’s a 4th edition now.

  11. Caelun on June 19th, 2008 9:00 pm

    What is the Spy saying? I can’t even make out if there are even words there in the first place.

  12. Ripshot on June 19th, 2008 9:38 pm

    oh my god so; much epic, sincere, full hearted, over the top, legendary, inconceivable win

  13. Haywire on June 19th, 2008 9:39 pm

    I think the spy should be lawful evil. Funny poster though.

  14. SpitefulMushroom on June 19th, 2008 9:52 pm

    The Heavy sounds like Minsc from the Baldur’s Gate series. He needs a hamster though. And Minsc was Chaotic Good. 5/5 though.

  15. Pigeon Army on June 19th, 2008 10:38 pm

    You cannot try and understand the complex psychological alignments of Team Fortress 2. It is impossible. IT WILL BREAK YOUR MIND.

    It’s nice to see people trying, though. 4/5.

  16. Dan on June 19th, 2008 11:20 pm

    I want to reiterate for those who missed me the first time. In D&D, four of those alignments stopped existing. There is only Lawful Good, Good, Unaligned, Evil, and Chaotic Evil. CG, LN, CN, and LE all got axed bot WotC for some arbitrary reason that I don’t really get or honestly agree with.

  17. Yamez on June 19th, 2008 11:53 pm

    @burnoutspartan
    This is the alignment tree from 3.5, moron. Hence the D&D category. sheesh.

  18. Paulrus on June 20th, 2008 2:27 am

    @Yamez
    I want you to know first hand that what you’ve said is among some of the nerdiest things i’ve heard.

    I’m offense dude, but reading that quote made me think of stereotypical image of a D&D player/Nerd.

  19. Paulrus on June 20th, 2008 2:28 am

    EDIT:

    “No” offense is what I meant. Glurg, need sleep.

  20. MonkeyPiP on June 20th, 2008 2:46 am

    @ Dan

    Who cares if those alignments were axed in 4th, you don’t have to play 4th if you don’t want to, hell i still prefer 2nd over all of them.

    Also the reason the soldier is Lawful evil is because he is under orders from a superior. the spy is more like the thief class and works alone.

    GOOD Lolz Though.

  21. LolWut. on June 20th, 2008 2:59 am

    The text is too fucking small.
    I can’t see it.

  22. telemummy on June 20th, 2008 5:18 am

    You’re offense? I play center.
    Next joke.

  23. Ryumaru on June 20th, 2008 12:35 pm

    @Dan
    WHAT?!?! They removed four alignments in 4th ed? Grrrr….

  24. web design company on June 20th, 2008 12:55 pm

    Would probably be very funny if you could read the tiny text.

  25. Shadow Hazuki on June 21st, 2008 8:09 am

    4th is supposed to be “newbie” friendly. They took out a lot of the more complex shite and made other things easier to comprehend. Good for new D&Ders, bad for experienced ones. Your experience is no longer “over 9000”. Sorry…

  26. killercartoons on June 21st, 2008 9:20 am

    wow, just wow. very nice

  27. LaundryMan on June 21st, 2008 6:35 pm

    I just noticed.
    All but two of the classes have 5-o’clock shadow.

  28. Mightyboosh on June 21st, 2008 9:20 pm

    @ LaundryMan

    I’m almost CERTAIN the pyro has 5-o’clock shadow under his mask…

    Apparently TF2 hasn’t made the switch to D&D 4…. :p

  34. The Silent One on June 23rd, 2008 7:02 pm

    I love the Pyro’s line.

  35. James on June 25th, 2008 8:00 pm

    Well…in the original D&D back in the day, there were only three alignments: Lawful, Neutral and Chaotic. It was AD&D that had the nine alignments. So, it comes to no shock to me that 4th edition D&D has only four. The pic is great, though. But, I don’t know a thing about Team Fortress.
