I bet this happened to everybody. You get on tf2, update, start it up click MvM, get some friends, and now you're 18000 in the queue…
    EST wait time, ? -.-

Halolz is an MvM serve too? Great!

Now if only we could play on the servers without waiting an eternity…

So storywise, Team Fortress 2 has concluded. Valve has run out of major titles and has no choice to move forward onto the next number. And I can already see where they are going to go.

I think we'll all be reainamated zombies with flying cars and cures for Cancer before we get Half-life 3

This chart is obviously false. There is no third step, for there is no three in the magical land of Valve.

Truth be told, I didn't even brothered with MvM. I've been playing ClaDun x2 (NIS released it on steam this Tuesday) all this time.

I'll just wait for an update to try it out

Don't forget the "RAAAAAAAAAGE!!!" stage where absolutely nothing works for a few hours after it goes live

  9. Skrist on August 16th, 2012 10:14 pm

I don't even care that MvM is bugged or anything, I'm just happy that IT'S NOT ZOMBIES!
    WHOO, PARTY AT ALPAR'S PLACE!

Only had to wait two days for the update.
But I have to wait an hour to get in a game.
Still haven't done it, how's the game so far?

You know Gaben wasn't his original name. Long ago it was Jimmy.

    Rustles, Jimmy.

This chart also applies to the forums.

I had no problem, updated my Server, put in password, and invited people :P

You are all complaining about not being able to play on MvM, but it could be worse.
    You could be me.
    On a Dell laptop.
    With Windows Vista.
And a blue screen every five minutes. *Goes to sob in corner*

    SPEAKING OF THE SERVER!
Can we at least have a copy of the old server please?
The new server is wittled down to only 10 people, and the only ones who have a chance of playing are the ones who can get into a team when the map changes, I.e, it's dependant on connection speeds!
Pleeeeeease Shawn, Can we at least get a backup server?

DAY 1 MVM IN A NUTSHELL
    Matchmaking? Fucking useless
Server Browser? All MvM servers are either: Full to the brim, password protected AND THEN full to the brim or laggy and unstable as fucknuggets

  18. Alpar on August 17th, 2012 11:55 am

Really? When I tried to play MVM just last Wednesday it was more…

"Grah we can't get our own server to work?!"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE JUST WASTED FOUR HOURS, NO BADONK, GET BACK HERE."

"Hey Rofl Giro has his own private server up wanna go there."
    "Okay."
    "Sweet."

"Oh hey MVM is fun but it's late, I've had enough. Vyse can take my place, later bro."
    "Later."

    MVM is fun.

My reaction to TF2 was simpler overall:
*Looks at Steam Icon, opens task manager*
I think I'll get the eyepatch to play stuff without this stupid client… Yo ho ho…

Just curious, Is there a different server than gentleman heavy featured on the steam page? The one I have is empty, says 0/32, and when I try to join it says it is running an earlier version
