The Lego of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The Triforce may be the most rare and powerful artifact in Hyrule, but it’s even rarer in the Lego universe! I mean how often do you see anything made out of triangles there.

Pff. Lego would never do this, their standards are way too high for-

… Nevermind.

2. Litmus Remnantal on August 8th, 2012 3:12 pm

Now this means that Navi can be placed under a brick. Problem solved.

3. BootyBurner9000 on August 8th, 2012 3:13 pm

Pffft. Look at those curvy hairdo lego pieces. Why, back in my day, lego hair consisted of either the colored brick of your choice, or the bald bump!

4. Master_Xehanort on August 8th, 2012 3:14 pm

Nintendo….

FUND IT.

5. BTSnoogans on August 8th, 2012 3:18 pm

The bald bump? That sounds like a dance for sad, lonely, middle-aged men.

6. BootyBurner9000 on August 8th, 2012 3:21 pm

Imma tell the Engineer you said that!

7. Sir_Nox on August 8th, 2012 3:26 pm

Engie isn't bald, he's shaved, like a rugged man.

8. Sir_Nox on August 8th, 2012 3:28 pm

Flat Green Rectangular piece FTW.

Then my guy could use his hair like a helicopter.

Or a plane.

9. BootyBurner9000 on August 8th, 2012 3:28 pm

… Then don't tell him I said that!

10. Punch SideIron on August 8th, 2012 3:31 pm

"Link, you must go out and assemble the 8 pieces of the triforce. Only then will you be able to defea-"
"I can't find it!"
"What?"
"The last piece, I- I can't find it! It's at the bottom of the bin somewhere!"
<img src="http://www.goodwillnne.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/lego-tub.jpg" width="333" height="250">
"But you had it just a second ago-"
"I KNOW, DAMMIT!"
"Shit, that's one of the smaller pieces, too…"
"Is this one it?"
"No, that's a yellow 2x2 piece."
"I thought that's what we're looking for!"
"No, we we need the… umm, I guess the flat 2x2? Or maybe a 1x2…?"
"…"
"…"
"So, K'Nex, then?"

11. WheelMan1337 on August 8th, 2012 3:42 pm

I would like this to happen, but I can't help but feel that it would be kinda unnecessary.

12. WheelMan1337 on August 8th, 2012 3:43 pm

Now this means Navi will give you building instructions.
MOTHER OF GOD.

13. Mentle on August 8th, 2012 4:02 pm

The game is incredibly hard until you get the Gray Plastic Boots, you have no idea of how challenging it is to avoid stepping on any lego pieces until you have that protection.

14. Rexxmech on August 8th, 2012 4:13 pm

Better yet, Just place her back in the tub, we'll never find her again.

Also, kid looks like NESS from Earthbound.

That reminds me, Nintendo should really get on that in terms of creating a re-make or sequel to that game…kind of like how a certain someone should be working on a certain discussion board…

• MeatyMcSausage on August 8th, 2012 4:41 pm

I don't have anything clever to say. But it's my birthday, so that's pretty cool.
Yaaaaay.

• MiniNinja on August 8th, 2012 4:44 pm

I mean how often do you see anything made out of triangles there.

You mean like this or this or WTF is this?

• Mentle on August 8th, 2012 4:55 pm
• Chimental on August 8th, 2012 5:13 pm

At least when they make the video game, no one will complain that the main characters don't speak.

• MeatyMcSausage on August 8th, 2012 5:37 pm

That is awesome
and thanks

• Skrist on August 8th, 2012 5:39 pm

They had the balls to do it to Batman, they'll do it to Link without thinking.

• Skrist on August 8th, 2012 5:40 pm

It actually wouldn't be a bad idea, considering if Nintendo made it, it would have good gameplay. And it might even get young-uns to look into what the LoZ is and play the wonders that it is. Bam, just made a generation better. Hypothetically.

• Skrist on August 8th, 2012 5:43 pm

Considering you have to turn around a lego to change its face, or rip off its head, Ganondorf always has a rape face on. Just letting you know.

• Uzumakiclan43 on August 8th, 2012 6:27 pm

I see a video game based on a toy line based on a video game in Lego's near future.

• PortalMan on August 8th, 2012 7:19 pm

Am I the only one who wants a Lego Portal? The possibilities!

• Lordshadow on August 8th, 2012 7:22 pm

So does this make Bionicle Majora's Mask?

• MasterLuigi452 on August 8th, 2012 7:25 pm

Zelda as Lego figure is rather disturbing.
Link and Ganon however captured the looks perfectly for some reason.

• wolfpax181 on August 8th, 2012 7:39 pm

Suddenly hungry, not something that usually happens on Halolz.

• wolfpax181 on August 8th, 2012 7:40 pm

I'd probably buy 20 of the sentry kit. Just because.

• Sceptilianblade on August 8th, 2012 7:46 pm

Oh, it got a sequel, all right. Possibly the saddest game ever.
Whassat? Not what you meant? Very well. Apparently, there's a fan sequel in the making.

• Armetron on August 8th, 2012 8:00 pm

well if they do make this into a game I really want to see the Master sword piece, I mean they must have had to spend AGES on that one important part

OH COME ON!!!

• Ryu Bonkosi on August 8th, 2012 8:14 pm

Even though I would play the shit out of this game, don't you think with the recent 3DS Re-release of TLoZ:OoT it would be a little soon?

• vash_ts on August 8th, 2012 8:47 pm

oh, boy, K´nex where awesome, sadly over here they were hard to find…

• Alpar on August 8th, 2012 9:19 pm

I guess "I hope you step on a lego barefoot" would be a really counterproductive diss there…

• Ragnellrok on August 8th, 2012 9:32 pm

Din's Fire would be the only tool/weapon you'd ever need!

"It'll have to do!"
*You got the Triforce of Mediocrity*

• Nightmarekiba on August 8th, 2012 11:01 pm

Not sure who would be worse for building advice, Navi or the Zoras.

• poonstev on August 8th, 2012 11:11 pm

The middle one is technically a pentagon, and the last one is just a steering wheel.

• BraveSirJimOfLawl on August 8th, 2012 11:12 pm

Congratulations, you found out how to make an OBJECTION!

• gAmer_Matt on August 8th, 2012 11:29 pm

What's even more rare to find than a triangle in Lego is a sphere in Minecraft (block ones don't count).

Although I think I recall seeing a joke on that somewhere, but I don't know where… or if it existed, lol

• Alice_M on August 8th, 2012 11:31 pm

I step on Legos every day.

• Suzuki on August 8th, 2012 11:54 pm

yeah yeah… i get it now, dont post stupid shit anymore… i have got to start learning from my mistakes

• Litmus Remnantal on August 9th, 2012 5:04 am

I'd like to see her Navi-gate out of that.

• Alpar on August 9th, 2012 8:53 am

NOOOOOO.

• TheInsaneWombat on August 9th, 2012 11:48 am

Don't new lego games have voices?

• TheInsaneWombat on August 9th, 2012 11:49 am

Does it mean I've ascended to a higher form if I'm immune to stepping on Legos?

• Icesickle97 on August 9th, 2012 12:10 pm

We went from Bionicles, masters of the elements, to Ninjago …spinning …ninjas… Goddamn it, Lego.

• KZN02 on August 9th, 2012 2:00 pm

What about Hero Factory?

• KZN02 on August 9th, 2012 2:02 pm

• Ryu Bonkosi on August 9th, 2012 5:45 pm

It would be fairyly difficult, that's for sure.

• Ryu Bonkosi on August 9th, 2012 5:48 pm

NO! Hero Factory is shit! Give us back Tahu, Gali, Onua, Pohatu, Lewa and Kopaka!

• Choco26 on August 9th, 2012 5:49 pm

You mean like this?
(I hope that link code works, my first time posting here on Halolz)

• KZN02 on August 9th, 2012 5:50 pm

What's wrong with Hero Factory?

• Choco26 on August 9th, 2012 5:52 pm

I'll just leave this here, for whoever cares.

• Ryu Bonkosi on August 9th, 2012 9:16 pm

Very brittle plastic and most of the 'Heroes' look clunky and bare.

• KZN02 on August 9th, 2012 9:18 pm

Well BIONICLE had brittle plastic problems too. Lime green pieces …

• Icesickle97 on August 9th, 2012 10:55 pm

Eh, in defense of Hero Factory, I might have taken too strong a dose of nostalgia at the time. I mean, don't get me wrong, Bionicles were great, but because I haven't bought a Lego product in quite a while, I have no idea if the new stuff is any good.

But I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Ninjago is a terrible mess.

• cy85 on August 9th, 2012 11:00 pm

K'Nex were the shit. Like next-level legos. Most of the time it's trying to recreate awesome pro models you see in pics, but every once in awhile it comes back around to saber fights.

• cy85 on August 9th, 2012 11:12 pm

Close. Lord of the Rings.

• tstriker1 on August 9th, 2012 11:57 pm

On a different note from all of you guys, I think the painting poster is interesting, but I think THIS is awesomer.

• Ryu Bonkosi on August 10th, 2012 10:15 am

In the 10 years that BIONICLE was around before Hero Factory I NEVER had a piece break. When Hero Factory came out, most every ball joint socket broke from being attached to said joints.

• KZN02 on August 10th, 2012 2:02 pm

Well I'm envious how well you maintain your sets so well back then. Strangely, it's opposite for me, though I only have 1 Hero Factory set at the moment.
