I don’t like getting my hopes up too high, but this upcoming movie by Disney may be the first movie about video games I don’t totally hate.

"i am not actually bad guy. i just like free donuts."

7. Doc_ock_rokc on June 6th, 2012 7:37 pm

Woah woah woah. Did I just see Zangief, Bison, Kano, Blinky, Robotnik (NOT EGGMAN!), and Bowser sitting in the same room and it not be a knock off?

Damn Disney just take my wallet why don't you.

10. RespectfulGlove on June 6th, 2012 7:58 pm

Don't miss out on Pixar's other new film, "Craft-It Creeper", starring Dr. Fetus, Ridley, Tingle, and Wheatley in an affectionate parody of "Remember the Titans".

Coming Soon. Valve Time.

11. Terpsichore on June 6th, 2012 8:13 pm

I have been burned too many times in the past to dive into this…
But my god it looks legit good. How did they get all the characters without handing over a buttload of royalties?

12. Skrist on June 6th, 2012 8:15 pm

Disney has just won E3 and they are not a game company.

13. Twilightdusk on June 6th, 2012 8:28 pm

BAD-ANON: One game at a time

Wait….. do you guys think…..Valve would work with Disney to get Meet The Pyro to play before the film in the cinemas?
Because that…..would be nice
VERY nice

I'm at a loss for words. This is just…I can't even…

This can either only be REALLY good, or moderately satisfying. I'll stay optimistic though.

19. Hareoic on June 6th, 2012 9:21 pm

A promising film about the vidya? Okay, I'm game.

20. Paulrus-Keaton? on June 6th, 2012 9:50 pm

Meanwhile, at the Disney legal department…
<img src="http://post.cloudfront.goodinc.com/EmbeddedImage/5542/org_Congrats.gif" alt="some_text"/>

21. Paulrus-Keaton? on June 6th, 2012 9:53 pm

Scary thought.
In 10-20 years, if its all still relevant, Disney may make a family-friendly movie set inside the Internet and various Internet characters. Steve Carrel will play Rage Guy.

22. BraveSirJimOfLawl on June 6th, 2012 10:12 pm

Well, I'm going to prepare my fallout shelter with canned food, purified water, and of course a copy of every Fallout game since as we all know, a good video game movie is a sign of the apocalypse.

23. Sceptilianblade on June 6th, 2012 10:12 pm

Surprise surprise… Dr. Wily's not there.

24. Valvatorez on June 6th, 2012 10:22 pm

Now that's something that would reclaim all of the Arfoire shares

(But I thought that little girl on the trailer was annoying… The bad type)

28. VyseRogueKing on June 6th, 2012 11:06 pm

How they managed to have all those iconic characters in the same room is just an awesome feat in itself. I would watch the movie just for that one scene.

29. shazbot32 on June 6th, 2012 11:07 pm

The best part is (as far as I know) wreck it ralph isn't an actual game so there is no lore to fuck up.

30. Cloak on June 6th, 2012 11:22 pm

Welp, I have to clean nerdgasm off my screen, thanks a lot shawn.

Not sure if good or only good parts of the movie… I am keeping my fingers crossed though. I mean… they were able to get some pretty big bad guys

33. Captain Rehab on June 7th, 2012 12:05 am

Forget E3. This… this…

My body is ready

So thats what that is. We had this teaser poster sitting in our movie theater for months and I've been wandering what the heck it is.

37. Sid_Diddly on June 7th, 2012 12:23 am

I can't lie, I've waited twenty years to feel like an eight year old again. This did it.

38. smashter on June 7th, 2012 12:27 am

WHELP. I just lost all enthusiasm for the rest of E3.

39. Drjolt on June 7th, 2012 1:18 am

HOLY SHIT

40. KeyBlader1 on June 7th, 2012 1:53 am

Other video game characters I saw (for a split second) in the trailer that people seem to overlook:
Paper Boy
Chun-Li
and Kano from Mortal Kombat

41. Sir_Adamus on June 7th, 2012 2:09 am

I might be way off mark, but does that guy at 1:35 remind anyone else of Reggie?!

42. BTSnoogans on June 7th, 2012 2:29 am

Does this mean I'll have to bring a stack of quarters to the movie theater?

43. Dr.Panda on June 7th, 2012 2:37 am

I was honestly prepared to hate this.
But..Now Im confused and wanna watch it.

44. BTSnoogans on June 7th, 2012 2:43 am

I haven't been this excited for a Disney movie since I was a wee little bitsySnoogans. I will definitely go and see this one. Also, opening the trailer with my favorite Talking Heads song certainly got my attention.

45. Trainer_Black on June 7th, 2012 3:07 am

I'll just say it right now.

Everybody here is going to watch the movie, it doesn't matter if you hate it or love it or your jimmies are rustled you're going to see the movie because it has actual video game references in it, this is like a giant fucking leap for video games to actually be directly referenced to instead of all of them being like two-bit knock of versions of the real thing.

That's bowser right there, the real bowser spitting fireballs at your face in 3D, and you don't even care if it's in 3D because that's Nintendo on the big screen.

You're body was never ready.

46. Shadrio on June 7th, 2012 3:18 am

I wonder if a future Epic Mickey will feature a Wreck-It Ralph theme at some point…

47. xxxxxxtheundeadcat on June 7th, 2012 3:32 am

Interesting little thing I noticed. out of all of the support group members, Ralph is the only one who hasn't been playable yet and presumably at all in that universe.

48. xxxxxxtheundeadcat on June 7th, 2012 3:36 am

Okay I've figured out the entire plot from just this trailer. after Ralph leaves his game it's going to start wrecking other games and he's going to have an emotional breakdown because the villain will taunt him for only ever being able to wreck things, then Fix-it Felix will try to fix it but fail then Ralph will be all like "no. wait. I can fix it!" and then he does and he saves the day and then gets a sequel video game where he is the main character. also he's gonna make out with the Space marine chick at some point.

49. tstriker1 on June 7th, 2012 4:57 am

If a character like Gordon Freeman or Mordin Solus or hell even the Blob from "A boy and his blob" makes even a small background appearance in the movie, then I will forever be in Disney's debt.
Well, maybe not the latter two, but definitely Gordon Freeman.

This could either be a failure, or something really fucking awesome.
*Waits patiently*
