Ah it’s fine, I just mash all the buttons anyway and things usually work out.

X marks the spot!
I've used each type of controller. You learn after a 24 hour game session. Till then, this.
So Scott was fighting evil X's way before Ramona…
My friend and I attempting to bridge the console gap:
"Press the 'X' button"
*friend jumps*
"Huh?"
"Damn it, I meant the 'Square' button."
"Umm…"
"Oh for… it's where my 'X' button usually is!"
*friend jumps again*
"I don't…"
*sigh* "Let's just play TF2."
I don't know Y, but the guy who designed these must B A total Square. You always Start looking for the Right button to Select, and no matter how hard you Tri, angle the controller, Circle it, even, all you're Left with is Xcrutiating frustration. If you want to find Joy, stick to the end, because if you lose your saniD, Padded rooms are great for Rumbling and tumbling!
…Analog.

What are you guys talking about!? I found X very easily--no thought required.

Why DOES everyone have an X button, anyway?
Is it the cool button or something?
Is it just the shit in the button community?

Yahtzee's hate towards quicktime events makes a lot more sense now…
I always liked the Playstation version more. I feel that visually, these icons cross (no pun intended) language barriers.
Then again that could be because I grew up with a PS1/2.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX *Dies*
I mashed the fucking X button and still died…
Remember, dear child, the X button is always blue.
But they are not all x'es. Clearly there is a difference between an x (As in letter) and x (As in cross)
The Playstation controller uses symbols so its the Cross kind of x, all others use letters so its the Letter kind of x.
Therefore its inpossible to find the X button on the Playstation…the poor guys only have the Cross button.
rel="nofollow">It's always annoying when the buttons are placed slightly different for different games.
GET OUTTA MAH HOUSE YOU DAMN DIRTY DALEKS
The only buttons I need are QWER.
Or if I'm playing Karthus, just R.
That awkward moment in COD4 where you accidentally keep hitting "3" to break a rabid dogs neck when it wants jiggy with your windpipe
Fun Fact, the correct key is "V"
One of the many reasons I prefer a keyboard 500% over a controller for any game that's not 3D.
Controllers may be generic, but button location is not.
X?
Oh you mean Jump N' Shoot man.

Heheh, you said X.
Semi-relevant.
Lots of eXceptions here.
I found X! http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/…
You know what makes it worse? Controllers that use numbers instead of letters. NUMBERS! And then they yell at me for not figuring out which one is supposed to be the A button. It's not my fault this time!
