So they announced a few secret characters for the upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken crossover fighting game… and the biggest surprise is probably Mega Man! Or should I say, the creepy middle-aged Mega Man 1 boxart Mega Man. Fred seemed to be pretty weirded out by this, but I think he’s kinda awesome! While they’re at it maybe they should throw in the tiny green deformed Captain N Mega Man too?

But still, I remain loyal (perhaps to a fault). There's still a lot that Nintendo does right, and I've been a fan ever since I was 2 years old or so, It's kinda like a root for the home team sort of thing I guess. And Capcom still has stuff going for it. Even though there are entirely too many extra editions, Street Fighter is still a classic, as well as MvC, you can't discount Monster Hunter, and if you haven't played Okami, you must.
The guys making this game are CLEARLY trolling PS3 owners with this one.

I want to tell myself that this is some elaborate prank by Capcom. I want the truth to be that they didn't really cancel Mega Man Legends 3. But rather they withheld it as a surprise for the fans on the 25th anniversary. But that probably isn't the case. We better at least get Mega Man 11. That should be a given. No, no, wait. Mega Man 9, 10, and 11 in a full retail release with awesome extras.
And yet, Mega Man is still not in MVC 3. Although, I guess I should be happy and have a nerdgasm here for their use of the original Mega Man box art style Mega Man. Dammit, Capcom. You make me so mad for so many different reasons but you just can't make me stay mad at you. After all, you were the best developer for the NES.
They won't bring back MML3 until they come up with a few more characters to charge you $5 each for.

From what I've heard from my reliable sources of random people on the internet, they tried to get Marcus Fenix and Master Chief into the game, but talks fell through, so only PS3 gets exclusives (Including Cole from Infamous and Sony's Mascots Toro and Kuro)

The only problem with improving graphics is… The Uncanny Valley.
I absoluetly agree, I love my wii, but since until recently it was my only console, I missed out on a lot of great "multi-platform" (read "for 360 and PS3) titles, I think WiiU has great potential, but the initial confusion following E3 may have scared away some developers.
As for the 3DS, I bought one in the first month and loved it. The system is good but the launch titles were lacking, in fact, the only 3DS game I had until OoT was Street fighter, but never having owned a DS previously, I was able to stock up on cheap, used, awesome DS titles.
Oh, and as for the news on new Star Fox… (i searched for 10 minutes but was unable to find an image that suitably captured my unbridled joy)
I don't feel that Megaman (or X) would be a good fit for MvC (as much as I love him). Too much of a ranged fighter and not enough melee combo-ing potential… Megaman in Smash Bros however…

Not enough melee combo-ing potential? Do you know how many powers Mega Man has picked up over the years? For melee, he could use Top Spin, Charge Kick, Hard Knuckle, and any of the various shield type weapons from plenty of games. And of course, there's a crapload of ranged weapons. I'd assume the popular one would be Metal Blade. As far as super moves would go, he could just hit the enemy with a bunch of different weapons. He could go all Flash/ Bright Man and stop time for a few seconds (Yes. Seconds. If it immobilizes the enemy for very long, it would be the cheapest move ever.) Or another idea for a super, he could go all Toad Man and make it rain on dem hoes. Seriously, if they could make Arthur work as well as they did, Mega Man should be a piece of cake.
Heihachi Mishima and M. Bison teamed up, kidnapped Ms. Pac-Man, and stole his secret stash of dots and power pellets. Now, it's personal.
