Staying in the tanuki suit for a prolonged time has side effects that will make you believe you are a tanuki. We at Aperture Science believe that you should not worry, as you will still be human.
I think the most impressive thing is that that game and others (Super Tofu Boy for instance) are actually quite competently made, you'd expect games from PETA to be shoddy pieces of crap but they're not.
Cave Johnson here. I regret to inform you that the latest batch of standard-grade Tanooki suits do not, actually, have the ability to turn oneself into a stone statue. Had a lot of problems with that. Originally, we had received complaints that it was impossible to turn back once one had turned to stone. I'm sorry, but this is supposed to be a company for science, not some Pinocchio-based fairy tale! It's not my job to wave around some magic wand to turn you back into a real boy or anything like that! If you really wanted to be the way you were, you wouldn't have turned yourself into stone in the first place! Unfortunately, that's when the lawyers got involved, so we settled on a compromise. If you really want to turn yourself into a statue, you can't do that with the regular ones. You're gonna need one with a scarf.
