I was so relieved that in GenV they finally got rid of that stupid "ALL CAPS FOR EMPHASIS" shit with the pokemon and trainer names. I could actually have a name like, "Conrad," without feeling like everyone else was trying to make the point they were better than me.

I watched my dad play Majora's Mask when I was little and he wrote his name JOHN S. It looked like "Johns" when people said his name. It pissed me off so much that I kicked the T.V. and told him to start over.
I tried to lower-case them once in the previous generations… but I got fed up with the fact that they evolved and the name didn't change… then I realized that my blastoise was called Squirtle and everyone should be very afraid of my Squirtle.

b) capture a new staryu which I evolved into starmie
(and don't even use; I just rotate out two spots and have Simipour (Poseidon), Haxorus (Haxl -- was Axl, but changed it for some reason and I'm too lazy to set it back), Braviary (Chief, because it's politically incorrect IMO) and Bisharp (Shredder). I rotate in Emolga (Skippy), Serperior (Grasshole; not my starting one (Smugleaf, duh)), Golurk (Steve), Krookodile (Ali G, because I couldn't think of any other punny names), and Luvdisc (Puck, because I was thinking about hockey, eh)
