Remember a while back we posted the cover art for a L4D2/Minecraft crossover called Mines of the Living Dead? Well good news, the first level of the campaign is complete and ready for downloading! (Also it includes a survival mode map!) Next up, Miclee will be taking the surviors out of the caves to the Minecraftey outdoors!

    I've actually been toying around and trying to figure out how to change a boomer into a creeper. Unfortunately, no luck yet.

    I've actually tried adding creepers, and still am trying to. No luck yet, unfortunately.

    I ever tell you about the time Keith and I made fireworks? Now, I didn't know shit about chemistry, but Keith figured "Creepers explode don't they?" Heh, third-degree burns on 95 percent of his body. Man, people in the next mine over were calling to complain about the smell of burning skin.

    And did I ever tell you about the time Keith tried to deep-fry a creeper? Third-degree burns over 90 percent of his body. His doctor called up, like, other doctors to look at him cause they'd never seen burns on top of existing burns. All the other doctor did was rub some aloe vera on the back of Keith's neck…he was fine! Walked out of that hospital, munchin on a pork chop.

    They'll be coming soon. I want to finish the campaign first before adding custom item/weapon/player/zombie models.

    Hello survivors. Look at your map, now back to mine, now back to your map, now BACK TO MINE. Sadly, it isn't a mine. But if you download a custom map that looks like a Minecraft level instead of a generic, post-apocalyptic city, it could at least look like a mine.

    Look down, back up. Where are you? You're in a mine on a map our map could look like? What's in your hand? Back at me-- I have it. It's a medkit with two shots of that substance you love. Look again; the medkit is now diamonds. Anything is possible when your map looks like Minecraft and not Left 4 Dead. I'm on a pig.

    I hope this gets recognized by Valve and they update L4D with a pickaxe weapon that has diamond variants.
