    Little do you know, Creepers operate like our Lord Jesus and your average time-traveling, flying DeLorean. They can walk on water AND leave a twin trail of fire behind them.

    But, unlike our lord Jesus they only bring death and destruction (and release of sexual frustration).

    My original plan was to build the tower out of brick and use stone for the floors, but bricks are prohibitively time consuming to craft in the necessary quantities…

    Actually by ruining my dreams the creepers gave me a new dream. So now I have a mob spawner that auto kills creepers and gives me gun powder. I now have boxes upon boxes of TNT. Hey, if you are going to destroy dreams, better to do it on a large scale.

    Well you have two options.

    Your house looks good for a while until it burns.
    OR
    You learn to love cobblestone so your house is only phased by explosives and is only slightly damaged.

    Also if you have all that clay to make bricks. I'd assume you have the stone and coal to make and run a bunch of furnaces? That would speed up your brick production.

    Well, I managed to get the fires put out before they spread too far. I only lost 3 floors, and luckily the stairs didn't burn down so it'll be fairly easy to rebuild.

    And no, I haven't learned my lesson. I am PUTTING a freaking fireplace in that room. I am adding a chimney so there won't be any wooden floor above it this time.
