Quite clearly, the creeper is a manifestation of our adulthood maturity and its ability to degrade our ability to think creatively, and whenever it explodes, its our minds telling us to grow up and not sit around being creatively bankrupt by building giant penises out of cubes, and instead by putting Kratos face into walls.
Why is the creeper itself in the shape of a penis? Well its a dick to begin with, its obviously symbolic.
When you really think about it, the entire plot of Minecraft boils down to…finding diamonds.
The plot is now DIAMONDS!
That would have been much better in Horatio Caine format.
