What I think when my Pokemon has low health

I can still hear that low health beeping from the original Pokemon games ringing in my head. Dammit Pikachu faint already!

Out of all the pie charts I have ever seen in my life, this is the most accurate by far.

Actually, listening to the soundtrack of Pokemon Black & White, the low HP beeping is actually pretty intense and epic. rel="nofollow">
Really has a feel like "Things are going REALLY bad and I have got to turn this around NOW"

    GODDAMNIT! STOP THE F*CKING BEEPING!

Also applies to Link with low health! I can still remember my parents when I was a wee lad playing Legend of Zelda on the NES.

"JOEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING UP THERE!?!?"
    "TRYING TO FIND A HEART!!!"
"COULD YOU HURRY THE F*&% UP!"

    WRONG!

    The correct answer is:

"Please don't show up. Please don't show up
*GARY MOTHERFUCKING OAK wants to battle!*
    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  8. TCC on December 29th, 2010 11:39 am

well there's that, then there's poison when you're in the middle of a cave you've never been in before….. that's just fucking sadistic.

  9. BurnoutSpartan on December 29th, 2010 12:03 pm

If I'm every in critical condition at a hospital or something I want everyone to hear that sound. A little payback from my GBC days…

  10. GameboyPATH on December 29th, 2010 12:27 pm

Man, if an alarm went off whenever someone was beaten to near-death, there'd be less crime.

Me: Alright, my pokemon's life is low, maybe he'll just kill it and get the beeping over with.

    Rattata used tail whip.

Me: YOU ASSHOLE, my pokemon's life is 1 and you use tail whip. Fuck you, Youngster Joey, fuck you.

I like how you stole this from GraphJam which posted it a whole two days ago. Oh and then you put your site logo on the bottom. Niiiiiiiiiiice. http://graphjam.memebase.com/2010/12/27/funny-gra

I wonder why no one has gone as far as to TURN THE F*CKING VOLUME DOWN OR EVEN OFF!!!

  14. Alpar on December 29th, 2010 2:03 pm

Looking at this now, I'm surprised how people lost their patience with Navi faster than they did with the beeping.

Where is Full Restore when you need it??

Thank god that they made a catchy song from it in Gen V! :D

It's their way of getting revenge on you for letting their hp run low.

    …And it's super effective.

  19. FoxyMayo on December 29th, 2010 4:39 pm

    Two solutions to the problem:

    1. Give 'em a healin' item.

    2. Put the bastard down with your own goddamn bare hands.

  20. BrawlzyBabe on December 29th, 2010 4:44 pm

One time, my mom went as far as to take my Red version away from me because my Charmander was beeping. It wasn't my fault that lv. 2 Pidgeys kept killing me.

  21. Ataeru on December 29th, 2010 5:47 pm

you guys should listen to the new Pokemon Black and White tune.
    Its very catchy. rel="nofollow">

  22. KamikazeGible on December 29th, 2010 6:23 pm

Which is why when I owned Emerald I spent most of the game with the volume turned down.

RED WARRIOR, IS ABOUT TO DIE

    DU-NUH. DU-NUH. DU-NUH. DU-NUH. DU-NUH.

This plays right into my strategy, piss off the opponent with annoying sounds till they mess up, then come back for a win.

  25. Kregain on December 30th, 2010 12:28 am

The funny thing, I was only making a ripping remark about this being copied/stolen/whatever from GraphJam. It was all of you who made this out to be something much more, and me into a bad guy or some troll. I think maybe everyone involved in this chain was taking things a wee bit too seriously, yes including me. So yeah anyone else with comments on this particular subject just think twice before posting. Everyone else have a good laugh.

  26. Ragnellrok on December 30th, 2010 6:52 pm

That is why nintendo invented the volume down button. It's not there to save our ears it is there only to allow us to not hear the sound of the beeping. Also I might have gotten some sick thrill out of not healing my pokemon until I have to for something like a long cave, gym leader, or the god forsaken rival encounters… I didn't even buy anything in HeartGold until like the 5th gym.
