Just out of curiosity, how many of you out there would be interested in playing in a Halolz WoW guild?
Personally with Cataclysm’s recent release I was thinking of playing a new character from the beginning and checking out the game again (after like a 3 year hiatus). Badonk and TCC were working on setting up a guild for us, so I just wanted to see how much interest there is out there?

considering how much the expansion might bog down me old vid card….yeah I'd have to be in the market for a new vidja card and I'd have to pay the monthly fees.
I'm a rogue by trade and that was a lot of fun circa Burning Crusade, but now I just can't be arsed to grind 10 extra levels out just to do the same hacky-slashy bits.
Even if I am a fan of knives.

I'm stuck in Madoran, and I've been trying to get some of my friends to join so we can make our own. But those heathens want to be ALLIANCE!

I don't know if I am considered a true member of this fine community yet (having not earned a gentlemanly attire yet and being insane) but once i get a better compy i would love to be in your guys guild. Sounds like a good plan!

…. anyway, I think we were considering starting a guild on a random realm as to allow everyone an equal chance to be the same level since jut going to one persons realm where they have a high level and everyone else has to start over seems a little…. unfair.

I like the idea of a halolz WoW guild. You've got a whole TF2 server already. Gotta roll Horde though, or I'm gonna have to round up a possey and beat your asses. Horde's got the cool people, and the less annoying 9 year olds.

Idea. For the Alliance, you have the Church of Falcon guild. For the Horde, you have the Wolf Cult.

I'd be interested in a guild, i just got my copy of cata about an hour ago so i haven't installed it yet, let me know how it all goes and what server so long as u don't mind someone who is fairly new to wow.

Epeenpocolypse, ID redid the points system to also include the number of posts made to stop basically a nekoknight incident and to allow for the length of time / "experience of the poster" / number of posts to account for points
If I ever get back into WoW, it'd be pretty cool to have a Guild to go to.
we're going to choose a random server so pretty much everyone has to reroll. we're not going to go to any one's server so that everyone has to start from scratch rather than some having like five 80's and others having to start over. as for faction we'll probably have both horde and allience chapters.
I'd play as long we do it on a good server, or a completely new one, leaning toworads a new one.

there hasn't been a final decision, but I think it's going to be Allie: Fellowship of Falcon Horde: Gathering of Falcon or Warriors of the Falcon… or something like that. Fellowship isn't hordey enough, and the site is more falcony than wolfy over all.
there's nothing wrong with alliance, I just prefer horde (derp. I know you're kidding, just saying is all. herp) we are still working out whether there will be both an allience and horde chapter, but I believe that's what we're leaning towwards.
After months of seeing the awesome stuff on this site, this post has given me the ever so slight amount of motivation to make an intense debate account just so I could say "Yes".

I find this to be a potentially entertaining concept. How will you decide which realm and faction to use? I suggest you use Uldaman, not simply because it is my own realm. The economy is fine, the PvP is balanced, and there aren't too many people. Otherwise, I would suggest you decide upon the newest realm you can find.

Ah Warcraft, i always find it funny how there is no in-between with you. Either you are loved by those who have played and know the joys of accomplishing things with a group of friends. or you are hated by people who have not played, stopped playing at level 10 or don't want to pay the fee.

A Halolz guild would probably be the only reason I would join WoW. I've been interested for a while, but without a good community of people to play with it just isn't that exciting. I would definitely sign up if this goes official.

MMO Wars aside, I'd actually love to see a LOTRO Halolz Guild instead.
This is the kind of game anyone can grab and play, being f2p and all, and I've been enjoying it so far (and I usually run away from these MMOs).
Oh yeah, and we could make a band too, just imagine all these crazy guys playing (eg.) the Pokémon theme with silly instruments and tons of beer, while hobbits dance in the tables and dwarves punch each other! Good times that have yet to happen.

I would totally join a Halolz guild. I'll roll a warr, dual spec prot/fury, level blacksmithing/mining, and go from there.
I'm not too concerned as far as faction goes, but please don't choose either a crowded server or a low pop server….or an rp server.
Let us know on the decision so we can get a more detailed plan laid out!
